Which CAA teams could EWU beat this year?

Post by T-Dog »

Well know they wouldn't beat the other CAA teams, so I gave EWU a fighting chance. You can even vote for multiple choices if your mentally insane. :thumb:

The ghosts of Hofstra and Northeastern would easily scare the shit out of EWU, so that crosses them off the list. GMU boasts a ranked club team so EWU definitely couldn't take them on. VCU's club team is made up of artsy and gay kids, so they'd overpower EWU too. Drexel's girls are pretty butch so I'm pretty sure they'd beat the Eagles as well. According to Georgia State posters, they're probably gonna win the National Championship...no way EWU can compete with that. ODU is the greatest start-up in history which is one more greatest anything than EWU can claim, so no-go there either. And Rhode Island plays on green turf which makes them automatically better than the Maxi Pad Clan.

edit: I need to learn reading comprehension. Anyways, only UNCW would lose.

Lets see, ASU BEARLY got past Eastern 2 years ago in the playoffs, and that was WITH AE. So its no question Eastern wouldtake SoCon Champs in 2010.

EWU vs. UR - EWU
EWU vs. Nova - Nova
EWU vs. UD- EWU
EWU vs. UMass - EWU
EWU vs. UM - EWU
EWU vs. URI - EWU
EWU vs. UT - EWU
EWU vs. JMU - EWU
EWU vs. W&M - W&M
EWU vs. ODU - EWU (blowout)
EWU vs. GSU - EWU

So EWU would take the CAA in 2010 too. :coffee:

"BEARLY" Do you mean "Barely?" I guess that's a EWU education for you. I'd take App over EWU 7 days a week and twice on Sunday.

Pretty close looking poll you got there.

I remember that game a little differently, the final score was not indicative off how "easily" ASU won. ASU was up all game, including 38-21 with 6 minutes to go.

Not that what happened in 2007 really means anything for the 2010 season anyway, very few of those players are still on either team.

The biggest change from 2007 to 2010 is NO Armante Edwards for Appalachian State. You can kiss those conf championships goodbye.

The SoCon is filled with cupcakes so ASU may see the first round, BUT thats where it stops.

So, for real, which conference is better top to bottom, Big Sky or SoCon?

The CAA has its share of cupcakes too, but bc teams from the CAA find a way to win the NC regularly.

Colonial
Big Sky
Missouri Valley
Southern
Southland
Great West
Big South
and so on......

You're not looking top-to-bottom if those are your rankings. Big Sky, SoCon, and MVFC are all very top heavy. But, the Big Sky and MVFC are much worse at the bottom. :

SoCon:
50. Wofford (41.25)
69. W Carolina (53.38)

Big Sky:
75. Portland St (56.75)
85. Idaho St (62.88)

MVFC:
94. W Illinois (68.75)
111. Indiana St (79.00)

I noticed you didn't list CAA's bottom feeders. Oh yeah, that's right. They dropped football.
