Please do!

I'd love to have every conference have someone start something like this and then have fans of other teams add theirs in to it, then when the talk slows down do the averages to see what is come up with as a "consensus".

I would love to do it for every conference, but I just don't know enough about most of the conferences to do it. I could have probably done one for the MVFC, BSC, SoCon, and CAA. That probably would have been it.

10/9 @ Eastern Washington L - will be close
10/16 Montana State W - Can the Cats get revenge for last year?
10/23 @ Montana L - one of these years, Souers has to beat his old team, right?
10/30 Sacramento State (Homecoming) W - JACKS will be gunning for Sac State
11/6 @ Northern Colorado W - Trap Game
11/13 Weber State W - Toss up
11/20 Portland State W - YUP

So anywhere between 6-5 and 8-3.
So there is two sides to history riding on the NAU-Sac State game. The only question will it be the fact that the home team has one this game the last few years (7 in a row I think). Or will NAU be in the midst of a second half of the season collapse that leads to a Sac State win. It will definitely be an interesting one.

0-11??? 1-10??? If that's the case, why didn't we let Glanville play out his contract.

Come on, people. We've got some good talent returning and we are returning to our traditional 4-3 defense. A favorable conference home slate (ISU, UNC, EWU who hasn't won in Portland since 2004, and of course Montana who, even during the Glanville years, we played tough in Portland) also bodes well. Although I really don't care if you all want to look past PSU. Just bring your "A" game. We don't want no excuses.

As some other Griz fans have said, I'm much more worried about NAU and EWU than MSU at home. Not to say we're going to roll them over, but as far as the most likely loss this year, I wouldn't say MSU @ WGS is it.

Eastern Washington (11-0)
at Nevada W (Im gonna be there and i think it will be close, *BUT* the eags will pull it out)
9/11 Central Wash. W
9/18 Montana *W (First game on the red turf, home opener, guaranteed new attendance record=Close win for ewu)
9/25 at Montana St. *W (8 Straight)
10/2 at Weber St. *W
10/9 Northern Ariz. * W
10/16 at Northern Colo. * W
10/23 Sacramento St. * W
10/30 at Portland St. * W
11/13 Southern Utah W
11/20 Idaho St. * W

The games go from hardest to easiest so w/a strong start EWU could go 11-0. (remember what I said about stadium upgrades & winning) I'd say the three games EWU is most likely to lose are UNR, UM & WSU.

Northern Arizona (8-3)
Western New Mexico W - if the Jacks don't score 60, there ought to be an investigation
Arizona State L - NAU plays well but the size and speed of Devils is the difference
Idaho State W - Bengals can't defend the passing game
Southern Utah W - SUU has never beaten the Jacks; this time will be no different
Eastern Washington L - NAU distracted by red turf; lose in a shootout again
Montana State W - Jacks in a close game at home
Montana L - Griz just too good for NAU in Missoula
Sacramento State W - Jacks always beat Sac State at home and it's Homecoming!
Northern Colorado W - Trap game; Jacks need TD late to win and avoid upset
Weber State W - NAU smells playoffs; no late season swoon this year
Portland State W - Herrick goes wild on PSU; finishes Big Sky career as MVP

The Lumberjacks have great senior leadership this year and their recent collapses ('08 & '09) are motivation to not let that happen again. Barring injuries, they will make the playoffs this year on the arm of Walter Payton candidate QB Michael Herrick and a much-improved defense. The guy who said they would lose to Southern Utah is smoking crack!

Montana (10-0)
Western State W - New Coach, new season, same result; Griz roll in opener
Cal Poly SLO W - Ball control-happy Cal Poly gives Montana trouble; UM wins a close one
Eastern Washington W - Griz freak a little on red turf with big crowd in Cheyney; win by 2 TDs
Sacramento State W - Sac State has no answers for Griz; it's over by halftime
Idaho State W - Onslaught continues; ISU is no match
Portland State W - If it rains, PSU can keep it respectable; otherwise, it's another Griz blowout
Northern Arizona W - Montana puts pressure on Jack QB; win convincingly at home
Weber State W - Once a great game; this year WSU is overmatched, even if it snows
North Dakota W - Montana's trap game; Griz win a nail-biter in Missoula
Montana State W - Rivalry games are usually close; unfortunatel Griz didn't get the memo and win in a rout

If people think the new coach and his system will slow down the Griz march to the playoffs, think again! The players are as good as advertised, QB Andrew Selle is an experienced and capable leader and Montana never rebuilds; they just reload. Look for the Griz to ascend to the #1 spot in the polls sometime in October.

What will the new attendance record be? 5,001 or 5,002?
