Ha, Rafael off on his second yellow!!
Re: Champions League 2009/2010
Yeah, a red card for ManU was the best I could do on such short notice.Grizalltheway wrote:Ha, Rafael off on his second yellow!!
I'll keep working on it though for the away goal advantage, k?

Appreciate it, but I don't know if they'll need you. Lyon is a French team, so they'll probably surrender in the 10th minute or so.bandl wrote:You're welcome.Grizalltheway wrote:Bandle....

For those not fortunate enough to see it, Robben's spectacular, Manure crushing goal.

What happened with Ribery? Did he deserve to get sent off? They might really miss him in the second match....

Yep. Basically stomped on a Lyon player's ankle after the ball was gone. Fucking stupid as hell.bandl wrote:Sweeeeeeeeeeeet.Grizalltheway wrote:1-0 BAYERN on another beauty from Robben!!![]()

We will miss Ribery, but Lyon will also miss Tulalon, or however you spell that homo's name. Shaping up to be a good second leg either way.

Bayern up 1-0 over Lyon, 2-0 on aggregate. 45 minutes to Madrid. Sweet baby Jebus, don't let us blow this.

Typical Frenchies, rolling over when the Germans come across the border.

And...it's off. Not gonna lie, holding Barca to just one goal playing with ten men for most of the game is pretty damn impressive. Going to be a tough match up for Bayern in the final.T-Dog wrote:Barca finally break through in the 82nd. Shit's on.

Good thing then that the Special One hasn't been able to win the Big One yet.Grizalltheway wrote:And...it's off. And yes, GATW, despite your recent jab at me in the NHL thread, I will still root for Bayern in the finals. Just for you.

Should be a good final. Not sure who I'll pull for. Maybe Inter just to be a bitch.

Re: Champions League 2009/2010
Bayern vs Inter in the final.
Re: Champions League 2009/2010
Bayern win the DFB Pokal with a 4-0 win over Werder Bremen and clinch the German double.
If Inter doesn't blow it tomorrow, they'll win Serie A and thus the Italian double.
So we would be assured of a treble winner next Saturday.

Inter up 1-0 on a 33rd minute by Diego Milito, just bitched out Butt and snuck it over his shoulder. Bad goalkeeping

Can't blame it all on him, though. No way they should have had that good of a chance off of a goal kick.DukeJack wrote:Inter up 1-0 on a 33rd minute by Diego Milito, just bitched out Butt and snuck it over his shoulder. Bad goalkeeping
I think on the balance of play we've been as good if not better in the first half. Hopefully we can overcome Jose's park the bus strategy in the second.
