Montana player gets humbled

Post by YoUDeeMan »

Billy Ives, former UM DB and apparent trash talker, gets schooled and caught by Manhunter.

OK, it's only a TV show, but if the guy had shut his mouth, he might have had a chance.
These signatures have a 500 character limit?

What if I have more personalities than that?

Not the first time Cluck. You may have seen him trying to cover Moss back in 1996.

It's Billy Ivey btw and what kind of a TV show or where can one see this at?

Mantracker is on the Science Channel. Actually caught it after watching a cool insect show with my 6 year old and he wanted to see what the cowboys on horseback were tracking. Turns out it was Billy Ivey and some whack job ex-drug runner and current outdoor lover.

The show takes two people into the wilderness and gives them two days to get from one location to another (the finish line) without being caught by two trackers (one a professional and one a local who knows the land) on horseback.

Billy and the other guy were in great shape, they knew the land (Billy is now into mountain biking, snow shoeing, etc, in the mountains of southern California, but they were talking trash and making noise the entire time and that kept giving away his position. It was entertaining.

BTW, they introduced Billy by saying he was used to going up against tall odds and professionals...then they showed a tape of Billy matching up against Randy Moss in that game. Yeah, Randy caught a long pass in the video.

Anyway, I started out rooting for Billy since he was representing FCS, but I changed my mind after he started talking shyte. He got nabbed. Thought I would have some fun annd bring up some memories for long time Griz fans. :thumb:

Ursus, I only watched the Billy Ivey show, so I can't vouch for the rest of the episodes, but here it is.

"Wednesdays at 10 PM e/p

Two people take off into the bush with a map, a compass and a head start. The tracker is on horseback, armed with a local guide and an arsenal of forensic skills. The prey have 36 hours to reach a finish line some 25 miles away without getting caught. How they escape is up to them.

Show Title: Billy & Rich
These hard-core extremists call themselves the "mountain dogs." They have a few tricks up their sleeves and on their ski poles as they tackle Southern California's Big Bear Mountain and attempt to lose the trackers on their tail."

Thanks Cluck, I'll watch that a little later when I get a chance. Big props for providing a link. :D :notworthy:
