Perfect day for a spring game
Got up at 5:30 watched the sun come up and man oh man is it going to be a beautiful day. Sunshine, high around 75. Could not ask for a nicer day for football.

Yes. I'm looking to your feedback as you see it with your own two eyes.
I am expecting a great season this year. This is going to be one of our deepest, most talented teams in school history. Our schedule is very challenging with the stronger conference opponents being road games this year. Our toughness and chemistry will be key this year. We should be ranked #3 in the pre-season conference rankings.
Enjoy the day. Be sure to post your review of the performance. Any word on groundbreaking for the field house facility?

Yeah, it's a great day (weather-wise at least) here in Cheney too. Headed up to our first scrimmage here at 1.

Couldnt ask for better weather in Norfolk as well. ODU had their first of three open practices at Foreman Field today.
It was in the low to mid 60's but with no wind and it being sunny it felt more like 70 degrees. Got a slight tan as well.
Being outside and watching spring practice seriously makes me look forward to the season that much more.

cannot wait...only 146 more days until Kickoff!!!!!

Remember the name Estivan Cintron. He is a true freshman who graduated early from HS and enrolled this spring to be able to go through spring training. He is a small one at just 5/9 160 but the kid has fly paper on his hands and can flat out fly. I was pleasantly surprised at our Clemson transfer RIchard Mounce who played a couple of series. Good legs and a rocket for an arm, very accurate as well. He should have no problem learning the entire offensive scheme and hopefully Mills will redshirt him this coming season.Offense fares well for Bucs

After a slow start, the Charleston Southern offense put together nice scoring drives and held off a challenge by the defense, winning, 30-21, in the annual spring football game on Saturday afternoon.
Senior quarterback A.J. Toscano was intercepted twice but threw for 192 yards in one half and the offense totaled 449 yards, with 329 coming via the passing game.
Senior Gerald Stevenson, one of the more productive players in school history, had 39 yards rushing on seven carries, scoring twice, and caught three passes for 31 yards. Stevenson also added a 22-yard punt return.

Defensively, this is the best LB corp I have seen at CSU. They intercepted 2 passes and flat have the short passing game zone shut down.
Looking forward to this season. Should be a good one for the Bucs.
