W&M opens spring drills.

Post by Tribe4SF »

84 players present yesterday for the first practice. The QB battle between rFr. Brent Caprio and UNC transfer Mike Paulus will be closely watched. Injured players returning who missed most of last season include WRs Ryan Moody and Terreon Conyers, and FB Jimmy Hobson.

Extensive spring guide available at this link.

Impressive publication, I must say. Great job by the W&M SID office. :)

I'd be happy if my school did a condensed version......12-14 pages, etc. :coffee:

There's excitement about both he and Caprio. I don't think the starter will be chosen until August. Paulus seems to have developed a quicker release, and he certainly has a strong arm. Both guys are going to go through the wringer, as the Tribe D looks to be very good again.

Looking forward to the Spring Game-----last year I left thinking that our offense really had issues----I soon realized that the defense was awesome. Here's hoping for a bit more dynamic offense this year to supplement the defense, and a bit of special team's pizazz as well........
