That means that ISU won the title in 1981 so we are the best!! You musty of aced philosophy with a sharp mind and way of reasoning.
And UOP won two bowl games in one season, so UOP is the best.

The good -- Using the D-II game as a recovery from the FBS. A bye week roughly midway and especially before a matchup with a game EWU squad.

The bad -- That we have a D-II game at all. Finishing with a 2-game road trip and four of the last five on the road.

The ugly -- The "homecoming" game is not a traditional homecoming as it follows another home game. (SD forgot to include it, but it's UNC.)

That said, the difficulty distribution is good. I'm looking at 7-4/8-3 as a probable record, with better and worse records certainly possible. Definitely 5-8 wins. While I think Stanford early (they're usually vulnerable early, just ask SJSU) and Montana are "winnable," I'm counting those in the L column for the time being. The D-II and ISU are clear wins. UNC is on the way up, and I'm going to claim them in a tier with everyone else: we will probably win, but it'll be close. For now, I'll also count MSU and maybe EWU as Ls to get to that 7-4/8-3 level, but we could win those, too. At 8-3, I think we have a good shot at an at-large. At 7-4, we likely have to win conference, which will be hard if we don't bag the Griz.

That was Sac State's choice. The could have played Cal Poly. I guess we should not have beat you so bad last year when we paid you to come to SLO. Cal Poly would gladly sign a home and home, but Sac State wants no part of it. If the playoffs are the goal, then the DII game serves no purpose.

Don't get mad at Sac State for CP admin being too pussy to pony up the travel funds for a jump to the Big Sky. That was CP's choice. CP wouldn't be stuck in scheduling hell if they would do what is necessary to have their football program in a real conference. The lack of CP's admin to face reality has resulted in CP being desperate to sign a home and home with anyone. If ease of scheduling was the goal, the GWC serves no purpose.

You're smoking CRACK. 5-6 at BEST. And you could easily lose 2 of the last three and go 3-8.

Not to sound mean, but you guys will be lucky to be 3-8 this year.
