The negative comment was directed at BlackFalkin. I think highly of EWU and would love to see them back on future Cal Poly schedules. We have had some great games in the past.

It is great to have EWU come to San Luis Obispo. It's been too long. Hope you guys play OSU and Washington before us, so you're nice and banged up.
Also, good luck against OSU especially. That game in 2000 looked close.
OSU isn't until 2013, and in both 2011 and 2012 we play CP at the end of the season (well after our FBS games). It'll be nice to get CP in Cheney for once in 2012, that's for sure.
that's right.. Well, good luck at Nevada this year, and get really banged up at Washington next year then.. it is a pretty unique and awesome stadium.. those upper levels just keep going up.. Wonder how many EWU fans will show up for that..

The same could've been said about us in 2006. Frankly I'm going to keep my mouth shut until we beat them again... if I remember right they got the drop on us last time, which in the end left us praying for MSU to upset the Griz so we could get the autobid, otherwise we wouldn't have made the playoffs in 05. If we had won that game, the Griz reign of BSC titles would have ended.

Eh, I think you took that the wrong way- I was wishing you guys luck- just hoping next year you aren't hot when you play us. I am a backer of the red field too, I think that will work and am excited about playing EWU again.
You can't look at one bad year when the coach had like 2 weeks to put together a recruiting class and we played 2 FBS teams.. Ohio ended up being pretty hot.

I think the smart @ss was responding to me from page 1 of this thread when I was responding to his "pointless season" blast. I shot back at him because I get tired of his smack on this board. I do however feel that EWU is a very good program and I am glad to hear we will be playing them in 2011 and 2012.

I can not wait either. I'll be coming to Lake Charles for this one. McNeese has to be favored in this one. I noticed that they have a bye the week before the Cal Poly game where Cal Poly will be coming off a trip to Texas State. I have heard rumor that they may stay the week in between the two games. School does not start until the Sunday after the McNeese State game.
well that makes sense i mean... i dont know where yall would practice or anything like that. $$$ wise it makes sense, but i dont know how much money yall have in the athletic fund. apparently enough if yall playing everywhere this year.

Depends on what kind of deal they get on the motel... an entire football team for 6 or 7 nights would be pretty pricey I would imagine.

If they stay down there that week I'll bet that they will use one of LSU's practice fields.
i dont think id eat an east coast oyster... assuming ODU is old dominion. and if im correct oysters are an Aphrodisiac? hopefully them boys from Cali arent named SUNSHINE lol
and i seriously doubt they would use LSUs facilities. people in baton rouge would be in an uproar - trust me

It's the place Montana used back in the day in between playing LA Tech and McNeese in back to back weeks down there so maybe it's changed but it's been done before and I don't remember any bitching about it.

Who is this directed at? If it's me then I was answering the "LSU wouldn't allow it" post as far as where CP could practice if they decided to stay in that area for the week as opposed to flying back & forth for those two games.
why would you go from the austin/san antonio area... drive east on i10 past lake charles and another 144 miles to baton rouge? makes 0 sense. they could stay in houston where they can fly out of after the game to wherever they play after McNeese... that makes sense

BOYS! I don't know the fucking area real well...I was saying that it is what we did when we were down there and that LSU DID let us use their facilities. I ain't making the itinerary up for them so I didn't look into what makes sense logically as far as travel goes.
