PSV Eindhoven is my second fav team because....wait for it...I saw them play in Eindhoven!

I've seen a handful of other European teams play on U.S....but **** them. And I watch FSC and Gol TV religiously, but that's not the same thing
Huh...everyone I've ever met who's got a hard on for a G14 got it watching them on TV. In their living room. In America. Like on May 26, 1999 when most American jackasses got their first taste of Euro club ball and why there's so many ManUre shits running around.

And of course DC United is my favorite, they're my local(ish) team in the way Bayern will never be, not matter how long my family's been following them, and I try to keep up with Rosenborg BK since my dad's family comes from some village near Trondheim.

I guess I should have originally said "Outside the EPL..." becuase it wasn't that long ago that it was pretty difficult to see any match on TV outside the EPL if it wasn't a G-14(18) club or Champions League final. ManUre is THE prime example though...twats :ohno:

Other than Liverpool completely shitting the bed, and perhaps Bordeaux winning their group, I'm not surprised by any of the other teams that moved onto the knockout stage.

And I'm sure Liverpool is going to LOVE playing in the second-tier European tourney. And it's nice to see Rubin play in the second tourney, they fought hard throughout the group stage.

I would have liked to see Wolfsburg do a little better than 3rd in their group after their league title last season...oh well.

I like Bayern's chances at home against Fiorentina; 9 wins on the trot in the Bundesliga. :thumb:

I'm glad ACM got that last minute goal, at least things will be a little more interesting in the second leg. ManU did look pretty good though, and I just don't see them losing at home.

This is great...Arsenal is missing alot of great players today  . Go Porto!!! :thumb:
Gallas (back), midfielder Alex Song (knee) and Andrey Arshavin (hamstring) were all absent from the 18-man squad which left Luton Airport, as were goalkeeper Manuel Almunia (finger) and striker Eduardo (hamstring).

And how great is FSC in HD now?? I love it!

No surprise....Bayern is a good team this year, back where they belong near the top of their league. Fiorentina is not a very good team, stuck in the middle of the pack.

Absolutely horrible officiating in this game, just glad it's benefited Bayern.

Bayern got lots of help from the officials. Should be 1-1.

Porto was helped by some of the worst goalkeeping ever.

What are you talking about? They haven't hade it to the knockout round the last 5 years (don't know about before that).

But they have to represent the Bundesliga better than Sporting Lisbon did for Liga last year!

Really? Oops. Well basically, every German team other than Bayern needs to step it up in European competition. :coffee:

Bundesliga will most likely get one team out of the first knockout round, Bayern, unless Stuckfart (I like that  ) pulls off an incredible upset.

2008/2009 Bayern made it to the quarters
2007/2008 Schalke made it to the quarters
2006/2007 Bayern made it to the quarters
2005/2006 Bayern and Bremen made it the first knock-out

And fuck ESPN, won't show a CL game unless there's at least 1 English team involved. :ohno: :ohno:

That's cuz FSC owns the rights to the CL now.
