Why don't you go ahead and keep the idiot hat for just a tik here. He said BSC record and you guys won 1 in the Sky last year. You would have been better off leaving your original post so as not to look even more the dolt.
So I read it as total victories. Who cares? You're both still idiots.

Just what we need, another "farm extension" to root against. ;)

Maybe so but as far as the idiot chain goes you are most definitely setting a high mark for us to strive for. :thumb:

I'd say we're all idiots for contributing to a thread that is at least five months away from being taken seriously. 78 posts on a prediction thread before spring ball even? Ridiculous.

The thread is 2010 BSC Predictions; the only relevant records are conference games. 4 years = 32 games; try to keep up. You need to improve to get to the idiot level. When you get there, give yourself some credit; admit it.

Real data, rather than BS and wishful thinking, sucks, doesn't it?

EWU will miss him no doubt, but all we need is average QB play when we have TJ in the backfield. He'll be getting more than 13 carries a game this year.

I think we are a "dark" horse in the race for the Big Sky Title. For MSU to do that we will need the same type of improvement at QB that Kemp had last year. If you compare his numbers from his sophomore year to last year (junior year) he did very well. Plus the team seemed to have more spark when he was in there. McGhee (redshirt freshman) is probably going to have to have an outstanding spring and fall to beat Kemp out for the starting QB job. I think he is capable of doing that.

Defense a lot will depend on CB (who starts?) and LB (will Bignell be back?).

You're right. I've still got the continuing saga of the injury-riddled Portland Trail Blazers to get me through most of spring practice. I'm finding "bigskyconf" is posting more on the Blazers side of Oregon Live than on the Vikings side. Usually I'm pretty silent over there on all matters not concerning Portland State.

I think you all underrate UNC. I expect UNC to finish no lower than 6th.

I don't think anyone outside our conference is going to be impressed with a 6th place Big Sky team

Does it really matter who finishes 6th in a conference that is very weak at the lower end? UNC has yet to show an ability to win games. Three in four years. They have to get some results to get rating attention.

Although Weber's hoops are doing great right now, I do miss watching Weber State's football team play, the smell of BBQ grills cooking food, the sound of the Marching band, the atmosphere of football just cant be equaled.

Im sorry, the reason we are talking about it, is because WE MISS COLLEGE FOOTBALL. :D

Yeah it bites, maybe Weber's fans would get a little more jacked if they were a little buzzed  especially us non-mormons.

The Shock are pretty damn good though; in 4 years of existence, we've had

4 West Division Titles
3 National Conference Titles
2 National Champtionship Titles

This year will be the first of the newly created league of Arena Football One (AF1), which consists of old AFL and AFL2 teams. The Shock will host Milwaukee in the league's inaugural game on April 2nd, and I plan on being there! I think the NFL Network will be picking up weekly games for the new league on a one-year contract to see how it goes. And as if all that isn't enough, former EWU great and Walter Payton winner Erik Meyer will be playing under center for us. :thumb: (in addition to Shock legend and former receiver for Erik, Raul Vijil). Should be a great year in Spokane for Arena Football.

I saw that. At the time I thought it was referencing Nelly and his hit from a few years ago (Air Force Ones). Still, it is arena football. Its like me saying I'm looking forward to <yawn> MLS (yeah, right).

That's like an FBS fan saying, "Still, it's only FCS/1-AA football." For those not in the know, it's a lesser form. Arena ball is a lot of fun, there's always action/scoring, and has a lot of intricacies that make it pretty neat. :twocents:

I do agree with you about MLS, although that's a completely different sport.

I only pay attention/watch soccer once every four years....this year happens to be one of those years, and I'm not talking about the MLS...
