All BSC schools represented now. Should really make for some spirited dialogue in the fall. Remember the old, comical "Shaving Cream" song, Be Nice and Clean!!!

Interesting tidbit, the last time we played a whole year at Hillsboro was the only time we made the I-AA/FCS playoffs. :thumb:

The conference championship may come down to EWU and Montana, but I do think that the MSU Bobcats will beat EWU this year. Each year the Cats have closed the gap with the Eagles and for the most part outplayed the them last year even without 11 starter missing the game with flu including our punter and kicker.

I look for a very competitive Big Sky conference.

there won't be much spirited dialogue coming from bungle fans--we now our place in conference standings and are beginning to accept reality. However, we do have a new offensive coordinator who is an unknown trying in implement an unknown formation to a bunch of unknowns. Should be interesting for our opponents. I have heard his plan is to install the new "tick-tac-toe" offense; sometimes it will be the 'single wing', other times it might be the 'split T'. Should bring back great memories for old footballers.

You really can't leave out Weber. With their new OC and Cam Higgins leading the way they will be very tough. Mac has upped the ante and rebuilt his O-line. 19 total. Running game will be FUNNNNN to watch with Booker (redshirt from Oky). The kid can fly! I see them no worse than 3rd in BSC and advancing through the first round of the playoffs.

PS They will beat either BC or Texas Tech....Ya right!! LOL

I agree 100%. That was a team that did not show up. Plus, I think W&M was better than everyone thought.

It all depends on this Booker kid. If he can't produce the results that Smith and Bolen did, WSU doesn't have a chance; Higgins will be pressured into making more mistakes without a solid run game to rely on. Evidenced by the Montana game last year. I see Higgins throwing 12+ picks this year.

Must've been one hell of a gap then 7 years ago then! Look for a "7 Straight, Make It 8" campaign from EWU this year.

At least we'll get to find out early... if I remember correctly we head over to Bozeman the week after hosting Montana at The Red Carpet in late September. :thumb:

I think we close with 3 out 5 home games including Sac, ISU, SUU, PSU and UNC, so the possibility of another late season run into the playoffs is there. The problem is opening with Nevada, CWU, UM, MSU, WSU, and NAU. It's tough seeing us go through that stretch without at least a couple of losses. I'm used to being written off by the middle of the season anyway, but it sure would nice to over-achieve.

We'll need to go 3-1 through the UM, MSU, WSU, NAU stretch to be safe... we do that, we'll be headed back to the playoffs. If we slip and go 2-2, there's no room for error down the stretch, and Sac or SUU, possibly UNC could cause us some problems. But let's not get ahead of ourselves... let's just beat Nevada first. ;)

Well, you went 2-2 last year (barely) so there's probably not much room for error. :coffee:

There is no better logic in this case than recent history. Here are the BSC records for the last 4 years:

Montana 31-1
EWU 20-12
Weber 20-12
MSU 20-12
NAU 18-14
SacSt 14-18
PSU 13-19
ISU 5-27
UNC 3-29

I see no overriding logic that suggests 2010 should be any different. This is as good a prediction for order of finish as any. There is good competition for #2 in the BSC.

. You're an idiot. Do you know how to count? Go back and look at UNC's record.

Why don't you go ahead and keep the idiot hat for just a tik here. He said BSC record and you guys won 1 in the Sky last year. You would have been better off leaving your original post so as not to look even more the dolt.
