I don't give a fvck if he didn't go into specifics enough, I have a better feeling now about him following through with his promise to shake up Washington - fvck Iraq, that is the primary election issue.

I'm not as politically savy as others here, but I think democrats would be more willing to work with McCain, than republicans doing the same with Obama. Nothing to back that up except a hunch, and the fact that republicans are total dicks.

I agree with much of what you say.
Really? I thought he was a joke....."I intend to do this blah blah....I intend to do that blah blah.....fight terrorists blah blah"......same old McSame....I mean seriously, if you intended to do anything, well, you've been in government for 26 fokking years and you're two biggest accomplishments are a finance reform bill that could be construed as limiting the public's access to elected officials and a failed immigration bill that basically was a white flag as far as protecting our borders.....all hat, no cattle....
Never would of pegged you for a narrow minded, one-issue voter. Live and learn, I guess...

Palin never pushed creationism.

AP Link

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — As a candidate for governor, Sarah Palin called for teaching creationism alongside evolution in public schools. But after Alaska voters elected her, Palin, now Republican John McCain's presidential running mate, kept her campaign pledge to not push the idea in the schools.

As for her personal views on evolution, Palin has said, "I believe we have a creator." But she has not made clear whether her belief also allowed her to accept the theory of evolution as fact.

"I'm not going to pretend I know how all this came to be," she has been quoted as saying.

McCain said during a debate last year that he believed in evolution when it came to the origin of life.

When asked during a televised debate in 2006 about evolution and creationism, Palin said, according to the Anchorage Daily News: "Teach both. You know, don't be afraid of information. Healthy debate is so important, and it's so valuable in our schools. I am a proponent of teaching both."

Well if the issue is that he is not qualified to be our president, then you're correct.....BTW, I guess it's a good thing Obama isn't from Arizona, what would you do? :o

Duly noted. Truth is Obama's accomplishments aint much better. The value I see in both candidates is their capacity to facilitate change in Washington. They'll have real power as president.

I'll be voting for Obama, but that doesn't mean McCain is a jackass. I find him honorable and trustworthy and I've been paying a bit closer attention to him of late.
You know, I used to find him honorable, but now he's a hack....irritates the fok out of me to see him interviewed......to hear him praise Bush, who spread lies(?) about hiin 2000.....you know, maybe they caught his balls off during the torture, I don't know.....or took away his spine.....

^McCain is a much more stand and bearable person than Obama. Obama continually brushes everything off his shoulder without ever really looking for resolution.

I actually think of the 4 people left in Palin is the most promising and the actually the MOST prepared. She may of only governed for 2 years, but she has governed!

I was a huge Huckabee supporter so with Palin on the ticket I feel like this was a good move.

I look at McCain and I see 26 years that were wasted. He's going to do things IF he gets elected? If he really cared why hasn't he tried to change things in the past? He's been playing ball(Obama as well).

He's not very...well he's not...oh fuck it he's a dumbass. He hasn't got a handle on elimination of the previous quotes which is a feature that I asked Chris if we could change so that we don't have a string that is a mile long every time someone quotes a person. Chris if you read this...can it be changed?
