Coastal Carolina vs Liberty is a rivalry game so... lets give it a rivalry game name.

It's quickly becoming not a rivalry. Maybe if Coastal loses by 40 this year we can consider it being a rivalry again

I still consider it a rivalry. Liberty only has the series lead by one at 4-3. Other than the excitment of playing FBS games, the Liberty game is the one we in Conway look forward to.

Up until this last meeting in '09, the series was dead even and I mean DEAD even. In those six games, each side had 3 wins, had scored 171 points and given up 171.

I was hoping for serious answers... I guess we will get more attention when we beat West Virginia this Sept. Hopefully Liberty can beat Ball State and JMU before we beat them, lol.

Where the hell did another CCU fan come from?! I think it's a great series but not as grueling as CSU and CCU. After Simpson fucked up the super safety years ago, it's been heated.

i always enjoy coastal vs liberty games . i think of it as a "friendly" rival game. those are always much more fun and enjoyable than "hatred" rival games

I think of a rivalry game as a game that you look forward to every year no matter what. The top two games I'm looking forward to this year are @ JMU and vs.Stony Brook. Can't say I'm super excited about playing Coastal this year, but maybe that's just me. I'm sure the baseball team will be jacked up to play Coastal this year though!
