Agree to some extent. There are a few advantages other than money, but ultimately it is a grab.Grizalltheway wrote:I'll bet you do. UNI scheduling Iowa is equivalent to you sucking dicks for smack.D1B wrote:

Montana still sucks dick, when it counts, away from home, against quality (but usually inferior) competition.
Keep fucking with me and the Hex with stay with Montana. You and Uterusus really fucked up that situation by hijacking Mr. Bananas. If I were a die hard Griz fan, I'd kick the crap out of you two idiots.
"Sarah Palin absolutely blew AWAY the audience tonight. If there was any doubt as to whether she was savvy enough, tough enough or smart enough to carry the mantle of Vice President, she put those fears to rest tonight. She took on Barack Obama DIRECTLY on every issue and exposed... She did it with warmth and humor, and came across as the every-person....it's becoming mroe and more clear that she was a genius pick for McCain."

Maybe. Depends on the other OOC games. I like 7 home games, all of which make as much money as most I-A games. I would NEVER want a season with only 5 home games again.dbackjon wrote:So Hen fans - would you trade your West Chester game, which doesn't count, except for money, for a home and home against a good FCS team?

Four teams in the final 11 from this year. Does anyone really have a legit beef?

UD will never play a 5-game home schedule, but I'd love to see us play more FBS games.

Typical view point of an advocate from the inferior BSC. Complain, whine, and moan, don't have a legitimate complaint.dbackjon wrote:Why does a beef have to be legit?89Hen wrote:Four teams in the final 11 from this year. Does anyone really have a legit beef?

Official schedule has been released:

Only change from my first post is that the West Chester game was moved two days earlier to Thursday night.

I was hoping that the delay in releasing the schedule had something to do with a more immediate fix (read: elimination) to the 'West Chester problem'.

Re: 2010 Delaware Schedule
Including this year, there are 3 more games in the WCUPA series. I can't understand why we just don't buyout of the series, it can't cost that much & replace them with a FCS game....
Looking forward to SDSU and the start of the season, 5 gimmes, just have to go 3-3 in the tough ones.

WCUPA and Duquesne are weak teams, but the Hens will face four teams that finished in the Top 10 this year. Montana will face 1 (#10 EWU).SUUTbird wrote:Just pointing this out maybe its about time another team besides Montana got called out for scheduling weak teams? Especially since it appears alot of you CAA guys always jump on that bandwagon. SDSU i would say is a good game since i think the Jacks will do good things this season. But West Chest and Duquesne are both very weak teams

It's good to see that the same old arguements we had on the AGS are starting up here where they left off there. I think it's kinda funny that an NAU fan is calling out UD on strength of schedule considering that your school, along with the majority of other BSC schools is the reason why people don't give UM the respect they deserve. We had the toughest schedule in the FCS last year in the toughest conference...period. We have a tough schedule again this year simply because we do play in the CAA. That's not East Coast bias, it's just a fact. I personally would love to have annual battles withteams from other major conferences, but much like Montana trying to leave the BSC without going 1A...we're stuck. Money make sthe world go round unfortunetly.
If I were you, I'd worry more about you're inability to beat UM than who we play. Just a thought.

Considering it was a UD poster that started the Big Fluffy BS...
Big Sky was the second rated conference last year - Montana is THAT good. Most Big Sky teams would do quite well in the CAA...
Re: 2010 Delaware Schedule
Nationally in 2009 only 12% of the population traveled more than 50 miles that weekend. The opening day of the season on a work day is moronic. They will be no more people there on a Thursday night (or Friday night last season) than there would be at the traditional 6pm Saturday game time. And the other 88% of us can spend the day tailgating and celebrating the start of a new season. To the 12% that have something more important to do I say have a great time sitting on Route 1 or I-95 for hours.93henfan wrote:People get out of town for Labor Day on Friday.jd of de wrote:Thursday night season opener? ... Re: 2010 Delaware Schedule
Trying to prevent a repeat of the ags board where many BSC posters tried to present similiar arguements I suggest looking at recent playoff history during this decade, number of NC per conference this decade, and winning percentage of BSC teams not named Montanta during the playoffs, and the amount of years in a row that Montana has dominated your conference and you'll see that you are not #2. More like #4. Aske Weber how easy the CAA is.
Montana is that good. You are not.
