2008 Griz football camp: Report No. 3

HEAD COACH BOBBY HAUCK COMMENTS: "Our cornerbacks are getting better every day, but we still have a long ways to go at that position.
"I like our play on the offensive line right now by our veterans, but we need to develop some depth there, and our freshmen O-line needs to come on."
Hauck praised the play of several true freshmen, singling out wide receivers Sam Gratton (Billings Senior High School) and Jabin Sambrano (Great Oaks High School in Temecula, Calif.).
Hauck also singled out local product Beau Donaldson, a 6-1, 223-pound running back from Big Sky High School, saying "he is looking good right now. All of our running backs are getting a look, but that is another area with a big question mark for us at this point." Hauck also said that three of the young players on the team were vying for playing time at cornerback.

HEAD COACH BOBBY HAUCK COMMENTS: "Our cornerbacks are getting better every day, but we'll still be playing all games in Wa/Griz, so were good.
"I like our play on the offensive line right now by our veterans, but we need more games at Wa/Griz"
Hauck praised the play of several true freshmen, singling out wide receivers Sam Gratton (Billings Senior High School) and Jabin Sambrano (Great Oaks High School in Temecula, Calif.) on their ability to find Wa/Griz.
Hauck also singled out Wa/Griz and it's homey atmosphere, saying "the stadium is looking good right now. All of our bathrooms are getting clean, but that is another area with a big question mark for us at this point, but there is no question we will play all games at Wa/Griz." Hauck also said that three of the young players on the team were vying for jobs at the concessions.....because nothing beats working at Wa/Griz.

And once you roll into town in mid September you'll see why you would never want to leave this place. There is so much blue sky, pink snapper, yellow hearts and green clover that you will know you have lived a good life to have been there. Throw in a whole lotta beer, and good food and a few buddies you didn't even know you had and it will have made a memory that will endure through the rest of your otherwise pathetic life. I didn't mean the last part, it's sub par but not pathetic.

Finally, something we can agree upon.....although, with this drought, it's starting to look like Missoula around here minus the mountains and young snapper....we even had a forest fire with a ranger falling to his death......Ursus A. We've had so much rain in the early months it is the first time in quite a while that we have been pretty much fire free. It's been pretty lush around Western Montana this year.Appaholic wrote: Finally, something we can agree upon.....although, with this drought, it's starting to look like Missoula around here minus the mountains and young snapper....we even had a forest fire with a ranger falling to his death......
