Team make ups aint the same. There are too many other variables. Key players get injured. Weather. Whatever. The general point is better competition is good for teams. You want to turn this into a UNI thread, go ahead, but you're still an ass for arrogantly creating this utterly stupid thread. You exposed your limited fan-only knowledge of the game.

Oh and rest assured Cactus Jack, open your shit hole again here and I will immediately be back to take you and your gimp Urinis to the fucking woodshed.

Here's the most important "variable", Dum1Bass:

BETTER PLAYERS.

Game. Set. Match. AZGrizFan.

Look, AZ should know what it takes to win or lose a National Championship. Nobody has lost more National Championships than Montana. I think they've probably lost more than the next two teams combined. :thumb:

Amazing, isn't it.

In Montana's 17 year playoff run, they have LOST the same # of times in the NC that Delaware's made it to the semi's.

And you might not want to think too hard, CAAN'T appologist....Montana's been runner up 5 times. Marshall was runner up 4 times ('87, '91, '93, '95) and there's any NUMBER of teams that have 2 losses (DELAWARE, Furman, GSU, EKU, UMass, YSU)...

Delwhere is 1-2 in NC games. Montana is 2-5. Yep, you guys got us beat by a fuckin' country mile in performance, dontcha?

Jesus, it must suck to be a Hens fan.

Absolutely the most important variable. But how does that make match? Reread your unfortunate shot at Villanova''s coach to start this nonsense. We did our jobs and handed you your ass, again. Leave and live to fight another day, Skippy.

Listen Z, we feel for you. While I don't have the depth of experience you have in losing NC games, UNI did lose one, tragically, in 2005. It sucks, but at least we did take out our frustrations on other teams, coaches, or dig up the deplorable past of lesser teams to make ourselves feel better.

Take some advice here and grow up. :twocents:

AZ you oughta lay off Doltenstien on this one. He seems a little overly passionate about it and you oughta let the wound heal up. He is also intimately familiar with starting "utterly stupid threads" and being taken to the wood shed (RE: joltin Joe & Tman) so you may want to defer his experience on this one.

CS.com Mensa group, now there's an idea. meetings every fall saturday at a tailgate near you!! I did not get to watch Nova/Temple but I did get to watch Temple twice last year. IMO Villanova's athletes were on par with Temple and I don't believe that their team was much more talented that Montana, App or W&M. That doesn't take away from Nova's victory but if the Griz played and beat Washington St last year I doubt it would have put them over the top against Nova.

Agreed. But Talley didn't say that Nova would have lost had they not played Temple, he said that playing Temple helped. Beating Washington St. might have helped the Griz.
