Re: Elon's Lembo to Central Michigan?
I'm hoping he'll stay for a few more years because he's done great things at this program. Also he's a great guy, I see him around campus occasionally and he'll stop and talk to me when I say hello. Great guy and a great coach, I wish him the best, but I hope he stays at Elon.

He is a good recruiter and would be a loss for the SoCon. Don't like some of the aspects of what he teaches his players, but has done well for Elon.

I have to say, I'm surprised. It would be a good move for him, Central Michigan is good "mid-major" FBS program, if you will. I used to live about 45 minutes or so from Mt. Pleasant, CMU is a good school to go to for a coach making his way up. Apparently, if he got the job, he'd be in line to be the next coach at Cincinnati.

If the source for this is footballcoachscoop.com, I wouldn't necessarily trust the info. They're far more concerned with being "FIRST TO REPORT" than they are with being right about what they report.

That was my first thought. How old is he? Becuase in 10 years, he's the Notre Dame coach....
