To read eGriz, one would think they could line up any number of armchair QB's to easily fill Hauck's shoes.

I'd bet!

Kind of sounds like a replacement that is already on the staff to me. Or maybe Mike Breske? Or how bout Mike Kramer?

It does sound as if they have someone on staff. I don't know much about the coaches currently on staff, but have heard that Robin Pflugrad (QB coach) applied as the UM coach last time, and I believe was beat out by Hauck.

I agree with you. O'Day said they hope to have someone in place quickly (one to two weeks). That can only mean someone in the program will take the job.
‎"Born in other countries, yet believing you could be happy in this, our laws acknowledge, as they should do, your right to join us in society, conforming, as I doubt not you will do, to our established rules. That these rules shall be as equal as prudential considerations will admit, will certainly be the aim of our legislatures, general and particular." --Thomas Jefferson, letter to Hugh White, 1801
