CS.COM POSTSEASON AWARDS
I have thought about this and wondered if anyone would be willing to vote in the CS.com postseason awards to have awards given out by this message board. Perhaps the moderators here could send these out to the schools and leagues as AGS does.
Here are my thoughts on what to select and how to do it.
NATIONAL OFF, DEF, SPECIAL TEAMS, QB, RB, WR, TE, OL, DL, LB, DB, K, P, AND RS OF THE YEAR. I also think we should do a first, second, and third team All-America list. I was thinking of perhaps either doing a vote here on the message board or having the moderators send out an email to every member with 100 plus posts to vote in the awards. Would anyone be willing to do this and if so do you have any suggestions?
For those wondering how the national awards would be done, I would give you a choice for voting without a list of names and awards or I could provide 10-15 names for each one and send out.

Re: CS.COM POSTSEASON AWARDS
I'm in as well. I wonder if there is anyway to do the voting using the same submission pages used to vote in the CS.com poll?
I don't know how the program works, so I might be way off.
At the very least we could do sticky poll threads with 10-15 names?

I would like too but don't feel that I know enough about different players.

This sounds like a really good idea. I'd definitely be interested.

Re: CS.COM POSTSEASON AWARDS
I'd rather have a closed ballot so the early results wont influence later results. Lets say Armanti Edwards is trailing for an award and some App guys drag over like 50 guys from the ASU board to inflate the vote, that would be a bad thing if you ask me. I think a group of the best minds of CS can debate a bit and give out a list of nominations say 15 for each award and then set it up like the poll and let everyone vote and announce results when its all done.danefan wrote:I'm in as well. Obviously it will take a bit of time and if we do it it will probably be a bit before we have the winners to announce. But if we get a system in place this year we can start next year right after the final regular season game and leave a long voting period and announce winners either a day before or after the newly minted January Championship game.

Re: CS.COM POSTSEASON AWARDS
We can do it electronically just like the CS.com poll. I just have to provide a list of names for it.
Re: CS.COM POSTSEASON AWARDS
Count me in, would love to have a part in this vote!

I'm in.
Re: CS.COM POSTSEASON AWARDS
It will be mostly just a bunch of people casting homer votes (for players on their own team, or from their conference).
But then, I imagine most polls/awards/etc. are like that.
