Why would we need VMI's mascot?

We also don't have high powered offenses. It's nothing but defense and field goals in the CAA, but a shit ton of both.
That's how I'd sum up the CAA, other than UNH. They have no defense.

Have you looked at the defensive stats or are you makin a funny? EDIT: I believe you are refering to UNH hear... if so, in that case you may proceed with your weak defense argument. :ugeek:

I know you would, that's what I find so humorous about the whole thing. VIllanova has had multiple 300-400 yard rushing games. What about THAT isn't high powered?

W&M won't score 30 points against the Weber D.

A low scoring game will benefit W&M and a high scoring game will benefit WSU.

Valid prediction... let's get a little risky with our predictions, both teams might not score more than 20

that is true, on the WSU / W&M thread my prediction was Grillz 28, Billz 27.

This is EXACTLY the kind of rhetoric we heard from CAA fans before the JMU game last year. Those who don't remember the past...

And if Weber causes 4 turnovers against W&M they will probably win as well. :twocents:

When both teams are playing to their potential I maintain the belief that W&M wins with 15 players and a kangaroo  :kisswink:

Weber St has never and will never see a defense like W&M out west

You obviously haven't seen Weber play. Watch some of their games and then make a more substantiated opinion.

By the time this game is over you will realize why they don't see defenses like that out west. It's gonna get torn to pieces and the happy couple is gonna beaten like a WR82 on a NYC street after a couple of wine coolers. There ain't no way W&M stays within 14 of WSU and the only reason it will be that close is because I'm giving a little credit to the fans that will be there in their Tribe tear stained shirts. Good luck to Bill & the bitch, and keep the bambulances close cuz their gonna get the dog fuck pounded out of them by a team that knows what physical football is all about.

Weber has already played a team with a defense as good or better than William and Mary's and laid 322 yards and 22 points on the Cowboys in our first game this season. (Last year we put up 21 points on #8 Utah.) The difference is that Wyoming's secondary is a little stronger than the Tribe's, and six of the Wyoming starters against Weber are on the 2010 NFL draft watch lists compared to only three from W&M.

I don't know, but By Gosh I'll buy him a beer to go with it! :thumb:

The point remains that W&M has never seen a pass offense as prolific as Weber's. Weber may or may not win, but they will show a few change-ups to the Tribe.

If you underestimate this team, you will go home in tears on Saturday.

I love these types of projections. Hold about as much weight as what I said.

I was just saying the CAA shouldn't underestimate Weber. They have some players that are more talented than anyone you have seen yet. Yes the CAA has some real good WR/QB combos, returners, and speed players. I am just saying they aren't as good as Weber's. Watch some highlights of them, you will see what I mean.

Not at all, in fact thanks to the Bresnan Cable Sports package, I have seen the play about 5 times this year. I am sure throughout the whole CAA you can't find 5 people who even watched a Weber game. Everyone knows how good W&M is, I just think that because Weber is relatively unknown east coasters might be taking them to lightly. Really, Higgins and Toone have the capability to be something real special, that doesn't come along to often. Check them out if you don't believe me.

I plan to check them out...I've seen Montana this year, and they appeared to be a team that W&M would compete with straight up...

So if Weber couldn't beat the Griz...I don't see them rolling over the Tribe...

I doubt the Tribe are overlooking players like Higgins and Toone...they have seen pretty damn good ones this year against the likes of 'Nova, Richmond and Virginia...
