Re: 11/21 Score Thread
That may be true, but there were rumors that the OC for Hofstra was canned after the loss to Northeastern and they came from a pretty reliable source. I swear it when i say that all of us long time fans said this game was called like nothing we had seen the last couple of years. Aggressive and well timed playcalling kept UMass off balance all day. It was like bizarro world.dbackjon wrote:Hofstra destroying UMASS 52-38.

Re: 11/21 Score Thread
They return a bunch on both sides of the ball. They won't lose at any position where someone younger hasn't gotten experience. Working off the two deep on offense we lose 3 o-lineman, though two of them were backups and one was a regular starter. Then we lose the QB who in all honesty, shouldn't have been the starter, the young sophomore was better than him. Other than that, we return everyone else.dbackjon wrote:

On defense, we lose a great LB, safety, corner, d-end and another backup d-lineman, but all of those positions have young guys who got significant time this year. We should be much improved.
