NAU is 1-4 against teams over .500

Jon's stat is also wrong. :coffee:

NAU's record v UNI is some abysmal 1-4 or 1-5 disaster, too.

We have only played 2 one win teams. That leaves 5 wins. We are 7-2 against the FCS....
Clarify. Teams with one DI schollie win. St Francis gets no credit for beating non schollie 2-8 morehead

You did not specify. Does that Morehead win count as a D1 win for St. Franny thought?

1-3 Furry Feline

and this isn't about NAU. We aren't going anywhere this year.

But NAU's road win over Montana State is better than anything UNI has so far. :ugeek:

Iowa by 1
SIU by 3 (10 but we said here is another TD for you)
SDSU by 10

All of those games were in UNI's hands until Pat Grace decided to quite trying (ok he did well against Iowa but not SDSU or SIU).

Not saying they are better, but...

Our football team beat Iowa. Our kicker, had two chances to do his job and couldn't do it, but our football team beat Iowa in almost every category. They did what they needed to do to win, and our kicker took it away from us.

And its not UNI's fault that some of the teams on their schedule suck balls. Its not like UNI struggled against them. Every bad/medioce team that UNI has played, has been crushed.

We just played our worst games against the two better teams on the schedule, and if you play bad againt good teams, you will lose. Montana played their worst game against a terrible team, Idaho State.

Technically, we were statistically even with Iowa...we had slightly better averages.

However, your assertion that Billy isn't part of the team is a god dammed fucking joke. Yes, his kicks were alittle low, but they were over 40 they were going to have to be. Had the line blocked a little better and not allowed that penetration and hand freedom at least one of them goes in.

I watched that game in it's entirety and UNI did play even with them. I'm just wondering how it was the kicker that lost that game for you when the line let those guys though like they weren't even blocked?

Iowa waited til the last possible second to come to life but when they did on the last couple of attempts they blew it up.

I don't mean he's not part of the team. I'm saying the guys that play the whole game played the game they had to, to beat Iowa. Billy has one job, and had TWO chances to kick a very makable FG.

The line didn't block like they should have, but a decent kick gets over those guys.

The first field goal was 41 the second was 40. Billy has a good leg, but still can't put a high trajectory kick in from that distance. The 53 yarder..ish he made early in his career was in the dome and was a low kick as well.

Had the guys who played the whole game done their job for all 60 minutes, they would have blocked better on those two kicks. I'm not putting shitty blocking on a kicker trying to hit a lenghty FG into the breeze

clenz, its a 40 yard FG. Its DI football. If he has to kick a freaking line drive just to get it there from 40 yards, then he shouldn't be here.

I know I'm being hard on him. But he has never made an important kick. We would have beaten Iowa this year, and beaten Richmond last year if he made some kicks.

We would have beaten Richmond if our running back could have picked up a first down in the 4th when we went three and out, we could have beat Iowa if we would have scored another TD instead of 3 FG's that Billy fucking made. We would have beaten Richmond had our defense made a stop. We would have beaten UD had Williams not fumbled and had it returned for 6.

Jesus DJH, I'm gonna throw in the towel on this one for ya. You're taking an epic beating here and I can't stand to see this go on any longer.
