So much for the idea of the MEAC getting two teams in...

Post by slycat »

Florida A&M laid a fat egg in Hampton today and lost 24-0.

South Carolina State will be repping the MEAC only.

Que Z for a discussion about how he was right about the Rattlers.

PL isn't getting two either now. They needed HC to be the team at 9-2 to get in. Lafayette at 9-2 won't be able to overcome the loss to Liberty, escpecially if its between Liberty and Lafayette.

It's not just the rattlers. It's the entire conference. Along with the Patriot and NEC. They should go the way of the SWAC. :coffee: :coffee:

Makes more room for Weber State since they have two FBS losses.

If MSU can somehow pull off the win against Montana, and EWU takes cares of business in Flagstaff, then I think the BSC can have a legitimate claim for three teams in. Weber is probably out either way, even with a win against Cal-Poly. They're probably play-off caliber, but scheduled themselves out with two FBS losses. :twocents:

Except that Weber beat EWU, which will decide things if MSU loses.

Either BSC gets 3 in or CAA gets 8 in, because the SoCon is only getting 2 this year....& quite frankly, deserve only one based on what I saw today....if Samford beats Elon next week, no way Elon gets a bid...

If both Weber and EWU win-out, and MSU loses, I have a hard time seeing a 7-4 Weber getting in over an 8-3 EWU......two close FBS losses or not. (and I know they would both have 7 D-I wins).....the head to head shouldn't come into play when one team has a better record than the other.
