So then how can you have Colgate 7 spots higher than Lafayette?GOKATS wrote:Yep, high scoring game that could have gone either way- great game!!danefan wrote:

Nope, I had 'em 14 so I dropped them a couple spots. I didn't have Lafayette last week so I recognized their win.AZGrizFan wrote:Maybe he had Colgate @ #4 or #5 last week...danefan wrote:

I understand that. Its the fact that SDSU has a better record and won the head to head with UNI. Why does UNI jump SDSU for beating YSU?Screamin_Eagle174 wrote:This is THIS WEEK's poll, not the one from 3 weeks ago...Thumper 76 wrote: called it

Not that it matters, but curious why you have Central Arkansas ranked ahead of Southeastern Louisiana...we beat UCA head-to-head (without our starting QB, TE and top two WRs), have a better overall record, and better conference record; plus one of their conference losses came against a team we beat - Texas State.wkuhillhound wrote:1) Southern Illinois (2)

Re: Week 10 Voting: Post Your Poll
UNI didn't jump SDSU. SDSU dropped significantly after getting blownout. I had SDSU at 8, and to keep them ahead of UNI they would've only dropped 2 spots to 10th as UNI was 11th (after moving up on their Bye weekend due to everyone else shitting their pants, and this last weekend's convincing win over YSU.Thumper 76 wrote:I understand that. Re: Week 10 Voting: Post Your Poll
Elon has only beat one team that has a winning record (Chattanooga 5-4). Their victories come against teams that have a combined record of 24-48. That's not #2 material. They may be a top 10 team, but if they get soundly beat by App St., they may slip to the 11-15 range. I think a team in the top 5 should have a minimum of one victory against another Top 10 team. With the current teams in the top 5, I do not see them breaking through even with a victory over App St.wkuhillhound wrote:2) Elon (4)

Re: Week 10 Voting: Post Your Poll
I, too, have Elon at #2. Thought long and hard about it. Elon's only loss has been to FBS (and BCS member) Wake Forest. They are undefeated against all FCS teams and they play in a traditionally strong conference. If they lose this week, they will drop accordingly. But playing Appalachian State at home, I like their chances for a win. If they win, they will have met your requirement of a win over another top 10 team.SumItUp wrote:Elon has only beat one team that has a winning record (Chattanooga 5-4). I was in a hurry when I finished up my ballot, so I momentarily forgot that they lost to Liberty.
If I had the ballot to do over again, I would move PVAMU up a spot, put Liberty @ 18, put Lafayette @ 19, and drop FAMU, Weber & EWU each a spot.
