ODU was up 28-0 in the third. The crowd died down and a lot of people left, and then ODU blew the lead and NCCU tied it 28-28. At that point, ODU fans woke up again and made a helluva lot of noise. ODU scored two very quick TDs after that in the fourth and won 42-28.

I just wanna tell everyone that if this isn't proof that fans and atmosphere matter, I'm not sure what is. I hope ODU fans learned today that we gotta be loud until the end, because the team FEEDS on the home-field advantage. When we were silent, they were silent. And when we were loud, they scored 42!

I believe its the appropriate time for the annual "NEC Blew it Again" thread.

CCSU had a legitimate shot at being right up on the bubble for an at-large and what do they do? Go and freaking lose to Wagner? Wagner!?!?!!

Albany then has a chance to at the very least come away with a co-NEC championship and what do they do? They put together the worst effort I've seen from an Albany team in 4 years and lose to Robert Freakin' Morris. Robert Freakin Morris!?!?!?

The NEC should donate our AQ spot next year to the Great West.

There are 2 of us (TXST posters) here and I was at an Alumni Assoc Watch Party.

When I am here/home I keep the ESPN page open and list all team scores as I can, not just the SLC (as an example). Reciprocation is a nice thing to see.

Jon, It shouldn't fall on one person's shoulders, though most weeks it does. Just gets frustrating is all. I already have a hard enough time touting TXST and the SLC so this just adds to it. But it will pass.
