Frankie as I told you. I ain't giving it to you. It ain't my place and when they get it worked out I'll make sure they put you on the list because you need the information so badly. I'm sorry you feel slighted because you didn't get your questions answered.
Last time a checked the calculator uses a defined set of criteria to provide answers based on inputs. This is what I was asking--what is your calculator and what are your inputs???
At this point I dont care-- I asked a simple question that is obviously a sore subject so you reacted harshly. You are right about one thing I dont care about the poll, or any poll, so I should stop arguing. I will leave your chubby ass alone so you can go back to playing with sprinklers ok... have fun

Don't be so angry Frankie Angel. Once they get the criteria and the edges rounded off maybe they'll put it our there for you to play with. Now get yourself under control man and stop all this yelling.Franks Tanks wrote:DO whatever you want-- again I DONT GIVE A SHIT WHAT THE CRITERIA IS.. Re: 3 THINGS THAT WILL MAKE THE CS.COM POLL BETTER !
Frankly I don't see anything wrong with the poll as it is. Not all of the top 16 teams are necessarily in playoff eligible conferences or are playoff eligible teams (transitioning teams, probation teams, etc), so a top 25 is perfect. The only thing I would add or change is the number of 1st place votes for each team, and move up the submission deadline a little bit to Sunday at midnight so it can be released early Monday.

I kinda like it the way it is.
Re: 3 THINGS THAT WILL MAKE THE CS.COM POLL BETTER !
I like it the way it is, but as I've suggested earlier I think the submittal deadline should be moved up to 1:00 pm on Monday, that way all votes are cast before the other polls results are released. Down the road (next year?) I would like to see the #1 votes included along with the ORV's with a predetermined minimum of votes.

You are perhaos biggest pussy I have ever encountered on an internet message board. You are mentally and emotianally unstable (nut the f up and be a man), and cry whenever someone gives you a hard time.
I simply asked what the ciriteria for the poll is.. this is information that is readily available for any other poll I have ever seen in my life. That is all. I dont vote in any polls--if I cared I would vote. I made well argued points and all anyone returned with was "its none of your business what we use to gather the info, and create the poll". Well fine so be it.

Not to jump in between your argument with Clenz, because I really don't care, but do you have a link to the "criteria" for the TSN poll? I've been asking for years for a list of who votes and what the voting system is and I've yet to see it.Franks Tanks wrote:Clenz.clenz wrote:Frank is kind of a bitch isn't he?

NO-- I dont even know what TSN stands for and perhaps many FCS polls operate in the manner.danefan wrote:Not to jump in between your argument with Clenz, because I really don't care, but do you have a link to the "criteria" for the TSN poll? I've always been bothered that the supposedly official poll recognized by the NCAA does not list its voters.

Especially when its considered "official." The Coaches poll is transparent. For all we know, the Sports Network poll is made up of 89 Socon, SLC and CAA writers and SIDs.Franks Tanks wrote:danefan wrote:

I think the TSN poll should do what the AP poll does:
http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/files/spec ... CTION=HOME
List the voters and their votes.

Re: 3 THINGS THAT WILL MAKE THE CS.COM POLL BETTER !
I agree with you Ursus. If you only want 16 teams then make it a "if the playoff field happened today" poll and you could start the poll at the 1/2 way point of the season. It would basically be a seed poll so it would be fun to see who is predicting the last teams getting in.Ursus A. Horribilis wrote:My idea was that our poll could be more of a "playoff poll". Also Craig James gets a vote in the AP poll--

Well except that the CS.com poll, like the AGS poll, is nothing more than a fan-poll to spur discussion.Franks Tanks wrote:This was really the core of my point before it got really de-railed. I dont have to re-state my position, but I agreedanefan wrote:
