Maybe because, somehow, despite that pathetic offenseive performance, you've held the ball for 24 of 45 minutes.
The problem is the first down playcalling. If we would put Thorpe under center and run Sullivan off tackle left or right instead of thinking Rodney Landers was still back there, we'd be in much better shape. We've gotten 5 or 6 yards like that most times. That makes 2nd and 3d down much more manageable.
But I would concur that it just "sounds" like we've gotten more yards.

We suck right now, I admit that, but playing weak teams every week until at least the second round of the playoffs does not sound good to me. We have had an BCS team, #1, #2 and #5 this season... Any chance Montana stumbles a bit there?
