WOW..!!!!

Please explain how this is a good business decision. Rush has 40 million + listeners each week. According to you they do exactly what he tells them. So they just alienated a guy that can tell his 40 million + followers to quit watching NASCAR on Sundays and to instead watch the Rams or the NFL in general. Those 40 million people buy merchandise, tickets, concessions, etc. because Rush told them to. Doesn't sound like a good decision.

Yeah, kinda gross exageration. He does control the political viewpoints of millions of fucking morons, like you, but he would have no influence on their desire or lack thereof for sports.

Just like everything that republicans touch these days, he would turn the NFL into a violent circus.

Great business decision to exclude him. A decision made by the leaders of the most successful industry in America - professional football. :thumb:

I'm going to play along (because I think you're actually pretending not to get it)

Business 101

The NFL is the most watched sport in America - NFL TV ratings are up 20% and the highest they've been in 30 years - It's a National sport 100% about entertainment (fun) designed to appeal to everyone...

The NFL is in a situation where all-is-well and growing...

What Rush brings to the table as a positive
1) Money (but lots of people have money)
2) 20 Million listeners who believe every word he says is gospel

What Rush brings as a negative
1) Another 20 million people who hate him
2) past racial comments regarding the NFL - 70% of the NFL players are black
3) Huge future potential to shoot his mouth off and further alienate players and fans
4) Drug trafficking felony issues

As a plain old business decision - it's 2 to 1 in the don't do it column - done...
- Big 10 Football - So boring Wisconsin is our most exciting team...
- Big 10 Football - Where 117th ranked Purdue is dominant...
- Big 10 Football - Where team speed and passing offense are not required...

Political or not - it's bad business for the NFL to have Rush Limbaugh's name attached to anything (period)

Read this slowly: Bad for business the opposite of Good for Business...

:coffee:

If it was just a political decision he'd be in - after all Alpha already said all the owners were republicans - so why not make a "political " statement and let him buy in...!!! that's how politics works

But it's also business

and it would be a "bad" business decision.... get it..?

If Noam Chomsky wanted to buy in - and all the dealers were Liberals and they wanted to make a Political statement they would let him buy in.... if they were smart business owners they would NOT...

can you FUCKING understand that you bunch of knuckle dragging retards..?

I'd bet that most owners like Rush and agree with much of his politics. It's just that NFL owners like money even more.

Right or wrong, Rushs' involvement generated unwanted publicity; so he's out.

As opposed to the demo-tard, who can't understand that our issue isn't that he can't "play", it's the owners double-standard hypocrisy in allowing drug users, addicts and other controversial "popular" people to "play", but then cowtowing to the obviously overtly political push by the players association, and most likely only because it's a contract year.

Does that clear it up for you? :kisswink:

The fans don't pay to watch the owners
It's always about the players - they run the asylum - and RUSH is bad for business (PERIOD)

Fans don't give two SHITS who the owners are. As you said, they don't pay to watch the owners. Nobody outside of Dallas Texas gives a rats ass about Jerry Jones. Nobody outside of the beltway gives a shit about Daniel Snyder. Same would have been true (AND ESPECIALLY TRUE) of a VERY MINOR player like Rush Limbaugh, but Goddell caved (VERY unlike him) to pressure from the players association, and the ONLY reason he would do that is it's a contract year. The NFL is the ONE league where players do NOT run the asylum...the NFLPA is probably the least powerful of ALL the league unions....but you already knew that, right?

WRONG Again...
The fans don't pay to watch the owners
It's always about the players - they run the asylum - and RUSH is bad for business (PERIOD)

it's not that confusing

I know business 101- follow this below

Rush Limbaugh is bad for any mainstream business (Period) He's a fringe hate monger...

Bad for any business any time any where that strives for "mainstream" - it's that simple :coffee:
- Big 10 Football - So boring Wisconsin is our most exciting team...
- Big 10 Football - Where 117th ranked Purdue is dominant...
- Big 10 Football - Where team speed and passing offense are not required...

Fuck AZ, sorry.
"Sarah Palin absolutely blew AWAY the audience tonight. If there was any doubt as to whether she was savvy enough, tough enough or smart enough to carry the mantle of Vice President, she put those fears to rest tonight. She took on Barack Obama DIRECTLY on every issue and exposed... She did it with warmth and humor, and came across as the every-person....it's becoming mroe and more clear that she was a genius pick for McCain."
