Wofford gets a 1st down, but Wofford just punted.

Gilbert got blindsided running full speed by another player running full speed. And the back stepped out ten yards previous but the ref didn't blow the whistle fast enough.

Good punt by Wofford. Ball on App 16.

Wofford got a good drive going but fumbled on the pitch and App recovers with 4 minutes left.

We seemed to have a knack for pulling games out of our asses in '05, '06, and '07. Didn't seem to happen for us last year.

Good to see it's back.

We need to get our defense together and play better in the first quarter and we'll be fine.

All of the pieces are there for App to make a run. I'm not saying it will happen, but I still feel like we're a national championship contender. I can guarantee that there isn't a coaching staff in FCS that wants to see App on the schedule in the playoffs.

I just got back. Another nailbiter......we had a horrific first half followed by a heroic second - it seemed that WoCo's defense let down in the second IMHO, but we played well also. I hate to see what happens when this team plays a full game. That being said, our D sucks and we have barely enough O to counter it. I was so pissed at halftime I was ready to leave, but the guys surprised me in the second. I don't know what it will take , but these guys have to get that you can't get by playing half a game in the SoCon.

If you haven't been checking out Every Day Should Be Saturday for your FBS funnies you really should. Orson Swindle/Spencer Hall is the dope who runs the site and a Florida fan, and even though ASU isn't even close to being in the same position as the Gators are right now, his thoughts on his team and the UF/Arkansas game applies pretty closely to where App is at right now:
