So, I'm going to be in Houston, with nothing to do on Saturday, and there ain't a fuckin' football game within a HUNDRED MILES OF THAT PLACE!!!
WTF? Is it the fuckin' North Pole? What the hell is wrong with the Southland Conference? All these games in these podunk fuckin' towns 3 and 4 HOURS away....Don't get me wrong, I'd be all over one of them if I didn't hae a commitment I had to be back for @ 6:00, but the games are all NIGHT games...

Is Rice in town? They might as well be FCS anyway, most years. Seriously, Rice Stadium is impressive. 70,000 seats for a school with maybe 3500 undergrads.

There are no SLC teams in or near Houston. Closest schools are all nearly 3 hours away anyway...McNeese, SAM, TXST.
McNeese is home - Lake Charles, LA - 2 1/2 hr drive from Houston
SAM is at SELA - Hammond, LA - 5 hr drive from Houson
TXST is at Nicholls in shithole Thibodaux, LA - 5 hr drive from Houston
the team is flying into New Orleans and has to bus back west an hour or so
SFA is at UCA and that's in Arkansas - a veritable wasteland. The SLC is a bit spread out. Any of the teams, at home is a drive from Houston. And even Texas Southern is away this week.
You need to plan better. Next time come to Austin and I'll take you to a TXST game.

The airport you are at is on the oppiste side of town that I live. I know one good Italian restaurant in that area and I've been to one "chain" bar there. It gets ghetto or suburbia fast in that area.
