I think you have to look at who each team has played, and who's left on their remaining schedule. Only time will tell; there is a lot of parody thus far in the BSC.

Guess we'll find out think weekend.

Or "parity", you know.....whatever, right?

On second thought, maybe you got it right.... :ohno: :ohno: :ohno: :ohno:

Parody, as in "Something so bad as to be equivalent to intentional mockery; a travesty"

I hope not.

You've been setting yourself up to eat some SERIOUS crow the last few weeks, bub. :coffee:
All good things must come to an end, GATW.

And I won't be one of those fly-by-night guys that goes away if he's wrong. You can take all the clean shots at me you want. But I do believe we're putting your helmet up in the weight room this year.

Don't be too sad, though. I have Montana winning the two national championships in a row after this one. It's just that, to take a good old DC Talk song out of context just a tad, "It's Our Turn Now."

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

I remember you saying the same thing last year. Result: Montana 43; SacSt 7

So generally speaking, with the exception of the 2003? game and last year, in recent years we have either played Montana very close and lost, or we have beat them. Which is why I am wondering why a lot of Montana fans are predicting a blow-out on Saturday. Not saying we will win, but generally speaking, this is a game that the Eagles usually show up for.

Great post! I remember the 2005 and 2007 games in Missoula very well, and that was definitely a cool moment when the EWU players were trying to amp up the hostile crowd. Our players love loud stadiums... that excitement pumps them up and they feed off the noise throughout the game, even if they're the opposing team. I'm hoping this contest is another one of those classics.
Bottom line is - EWU has won 3 of the last 16 games with Montana; two were in Missoula. That may have something to do with Montana fan confidence; they may also remember EWU putting up a big fat 3 last year at home. My 35-23 pick is not a blow-out; it's the same score we beat CPSLO. The Griz are just starting to click.
