From a contact within the Valley offices, they felt like Paschall pulled Fort with him as much as Fort pushed him out. The only evidence they saw of a punch was by Paschall. I will try to get an official comment.

Probably not if he didn't swing. Losing your cool in a game is not going to help you compete for the league crown, this is the MVC, not that other league you were in. And you better get used to getting hosed by the refs in the dome, it happens to us all. Refs are scared shitless of dome crowds.

here's the thing... i watched the play... i watched the whole game... i stand by what i said... the UNI players displayed a total lack of class - and all i'm asking for is even enforcement - if paschall is going to get suspended, then so should the two uni players who swung should too. my problem is with the provocation from forte... their "conclusion" that forte wasn't trying to drive him in to the wall is galling...

it just seems like a very one-sided conclusion... suspend the best player on a pretty bad NDSU team, but no punishment for the player who provoked it, or the quarterback at flipped off the ndsu fans, or the two uni players who jumped in throwing punches on the sidelines...

what "conspiracy theory"? i dont think it's malice toward NDSU... i think it's stupidity by the conference.

you suspend one guy for a retaliation, but not the instigator, i think it's bullshit

as for pat grace, i dont know if you suspend him, but starting in with the crowd is what earned LaGarrett Blount a yearlong suspension at Oregon, these are orders of magnitude different, i understand that, but the idea that nothing is said publicly about it bugs me.

not that it really matters. if fans throw anything on the field, the refs give a warning for the first instance, and call a penalty if it continues to occur. (perhaps unless it is something really bad, or something is thrown directly at players or officials. then I'm guessing they might flag the first instance, I dunno)
