That actually looks pretty good. The AQ's could change (e.g. Colgate for HC, FAMU for SCSU, etc...) but the at-larges are pretty good.
Your brackets may be a little off though.
For example, SCSU would go to Richmond and Holy Cross would go to UNH instead (regionalization).

I also don't know about SFA getting the autobid and then having to go on the road, while McNeese State stays home.danefan wrote:That actually looks pretty good. The AQ's could change (e.g. Colgate for HC, FAMU for SCSU, etc...) but the at-larges are pretty good.

Re: 10/12 Playoff Prognostication
After seeding comes the bidding process. I would almost guarantee that McNeese would place a higher bid tham SFA. Autobids don't mean anything in the process. It just gets you in.AZGrizFan wrote:I also don't know about SFA getting the autobid and then having to go on the road, while McNeese State stays home.danefan wrote:That actually looks pretty good. Regionalization isn't always the rule. See 2007: UNH@UNI, Wofford @ Montana 2008: Maine @ UNIdanefan wrote:That actually looks pretty good. The AQ's could change (e.g. Colgate for HC, FAMU for SCSU, etc...) but the at-larges are pretty good.

Those are just the ones off of the top of my head.
I think sending SCSU to Richmond completely disrespects Richmond earning the #1 seed.

what do autobids have to do with home games?AZGrizFan wrote:I also don't know about SFA getting the autobid and then having to go on the road, while McNeese State stays home.danefan wrote:That actually looks pretty good. Other than the 4 seeded teams, it is all about regionalization and who bids more money to get the home game (which revolves around season attendance, I think). McNeese is averaging 13000 in attendance and SFA is averaging 9900
Re: 10/12 Playoff Prognostication
regionalization only takes a high priority when it facilitates bus trips rather than plane trips (and I can't remember the number of miles between that the NCAA uses to determine which one they'll pay for).FCS Update wrote:Regionalization isn't always the rule. I don't know the distances between the four schools in question, though.

That's right. If it requires a flight, then it doesn't matter how far that flight is. I believe the bus trip is 300 miles, but I may be wrong on that.JayJ79 wrote:regionalization only takes a high priority when it facilitates bus trips rather than plane trips (and I can't remember the number of miles between that the NCAA uses to determine which one they'll pay for).FCS Update wrote:

Its hard to imagine the PL AQ not going to a seeded team in the Northeast. That would be a bus trip for every single one.

Re: 10/12 Playoff Prognostication
I realize that there's no definitive connection (as AQ Wofford was sent to AQ Montana a couple years ago), but more to do with what the school bids....JayJ79 wrote:what do autobids have to do with home games?AZGrizFan wrote:

That's fine. Montana will take them in Wa/Griz for a warm-up game.UNHWildCats wrote:they both keep playing like they are and the only time you may see New Hampshire is in Chattanooga.Cap'n Cat wrote:I just want New Hampshire again for a warm up game.

NAU hasn't fared well against UNI.clenz wrote:Would love to see NAU up in Iowa.

But, Iowa is a great destination. Plus, direct flights to Cedar Rapids
