Its a shame that Jax State isn't playoff eligibile. They might have broken the OVC's winless streak.

In our defense, we're five yards away from beating number one and, IMHO (H standing for homer), proved that the loss to Hofstra was part fluke and part Hofstra being a good team.
Don't worry. If we don't belong in the Top 25, we won't be in two weeks.
Re: AGS Poll Week 6
I assume any team that didnt lose this weekend (outside the top 10), moved up alot

The same Hofstra team that I just watched this past Saturday lose at home to Maine 16-14 and commit 7 turnovers???
Go Black Bears!

Re: AGS Poll Week 6
No worries. Just win out (with the exception of Ole Miss) and you're in. Pretty much the exact same situation that Delaware is in. The reason we're ranked is because we beat a ranked team and should have beaten #1. In the end, who cares where we're ranked? We both need to go 4-1 (edit - you guys 5-1 actually) the rest of the way and then we'll have an argument if we feel snubbed by the committee.dbackjon wrote:I made my first post over there in forever telling them what a joke the poll was for not having NAU in it

Re: AGS Poll Week 6
Having seen both play in person this season, I can safely say NAU should be ranked...and higher than UMass...

New Hampshire should be #2.
"Sarah Palin absolutely blew AWAY the audience tonight. If there was any doubt as to whether she was savvy enough, tough enough or smart enough to carry the mantle of Vice President, she put those fears to rest tonight. She took on Barack Obama DIRECTLY on every issue and exposed... She did it with warmth and humor, and came across as the every-person....it's becoming mroe and more clear that she was a genius pick for McCain."

Until someone beats these CAA teams in the playoffs, they get the nod in the rankings.
