Turns out it was Coach Shannon's idea to have the 100 perform after the game.

When the final whistle blows to end Miami's game against Florida A&M, Hurricanes coach Randy Shannon will hurry off the field.
And then he'll hurry right back out.

Wow! I didn't know anything about FAMU's marchin' band or their history, but I just youtubed their stuff and it's pretty ridiculous. By far one of the best marchin' bands I have ever heard, probably only second to the Spirit of Troy. Two completely different styles but equally entertainin' nontheless!

I watched the halftime show on Versus two weeks ago. Great show.
One question: Is every HBCU band doing a Michael Jackson halftime show this year? The reason I ask is because I saw Southern's posted on AGS, then I saw DSU's in person vs. Delaware, then I saw FAMU's on Versus and they're all very similar (and I don't mean in a bad way - FAMU's was easily the best). Did the HBCU band directors all get together and coordinate this?
