You mean the last drive in regulation, or our OT 'strategy'?
i mean when we scored on the td pass to go ahead 27-20. right at 4:00 to go ball on App state 33ish yrd line. your opinion of not attempting to run the ball and end the game without App St ever having another possession.

I don't know. I think you go for the score how ever you can get it. If the pass is there, you gotta take it. ASU had not gotten behind our secondary all day, so I think that it was a good call to go all out for the points. Woulda, coulda, shoulda.

There's still a lot of football to play. If ASU is still as good as usual (which is my opinion), then we should be as good for the at large as anyone. If they are not as good as we think, then the season is still wide open for everybody.

Appreciate the postive comments, 90. I, like a lot of ASU fans, am left scratching my head so far this season. That said, I still don't understand how anyone with a brain wouldn't have App in the top 15 teams in the country. Excellent game by your Dogs and I'm glad we escaped Charleston with a win.

ASU has played one less game than UNI. ASU's combined opponents have one less win, 11, compared to UNI's, 12.

Frankly, I haven't seen any of the top 10 teams do anything that's been all that impressive. Just a shame that the inaugural CS.com poll is already subject to poster bias. I was expecting better.

There is no bias. ASU hasn't done anything to prove to me they are a top 15 team so I didn't put them there. Big fucking deal.

ASU stops getting their dick sucked because they aren't as good as they have been and their fans get pissy when they don't get votes they don't deserve.

Bias would be having them ranked highly because they are ASU. At this point preseason rankings don't mean a damn thing to me. I don't care what the name on the jersey or helmet says, in my poll I made it about who has performed and who hasn't. ASU has NOT performed like a top 15, let a lone top 10, team so I saw no reason to put them there.

I hope there are smart ASU fans than you out there, because your homer bias right now if fucking ridiculous

Nah, not a homer. I don't think ASU is top 5 material. I think it's even debatable to have ASU in the top 10. But not in the top 15? Sounds a little strange. Hope you make your poll public as I'm interested in seeing the teams who have performed better.

And not every post you make needs to be laced with profanity, it's okay to use regular grown up words to make your point. :D

I'll gladly make it public if I get a copy of it.

I'll go as far as i can off of memory

1.UNI
2.Richmond
3.Nova
4.Montana (those 2 might be switched)
5.UNH
6.SIU

I believe I had William and Mary about #8

SDSU was about 13 this week, would have been top 10 last week.

I'm thinking my 23-25 was Colgate, NAU, ASU

AND I'll add that getting my top 3 was a pain in the butt. I looked at it for seriously 30 minutes with no names and just stats, numbers, etc...

I was honestly shocked when it came out to be UNI. Like I said I had no idea who I was looking at numbers wise. I was fully expecting Richmond to be it.

You can laugh but UNI is a legit #1 vote as opposed to ASU as a top 10 at 2-2

ASU 2-2 and their margin of victory in wins is +16.

UNI is 4-1 and their margin of victory in wins is +172

Even using UNI's two smallest MOV wins its still +58

ASU has been unimpressive with an unimpressive schedule. UNI has been extremely impressive with a rather unimpressive schedule.

And for what its worth, ASU is #17 in jmy poll, UNI #3

Both UNI and ASU have had, to date, better opponents than New Hampshire.

A quick scan shows New Hampshire's opponents have a combined 2-15 record.

But the Wilcats are top 5 right? ;)

What does attendence prove? NDSU sucks balls and they draw 17-18K

UNI is a top 5 team almost every year and we can't sell more than once a year...if lucky.

Doesn't answer my question.

What does a teams attendence have to do with much of anything?

Nothing at all. I'm sure guys would much rather play in front a crowd of 2,000 at Villanova than a crowd of 25,000 at Wash-Griz.
