Whereas certain teams simply cannibalize their own weak conference.
Yeah....becuase lord KNOWS there aren't enough cupcakes WITHIN the CAA.

I can think of three of the twelve teams I might call a cupcake, as opposed to a certain conference where at least four of nine clearly suck donkey balls.

I love it when we start comparing the SHIT in our conferences...our shit is better than your shit!!

And if you PLAYED JUST those three every year, nobody would bitch. But you guys play those three AND go out and find 3-4 MORE from the above-mentioned conferences and play 3, maybe 4 decent games a year. But let's not hijack this thread any more than we already have.

NAU doesn't belong in the top 25----YET. :coffee: :coffee: :coffee:

Well, when 44.4% of your conference is shit...

And oh btw, Delaware plays one of the teams I was referring to in the CAA. Add in WCUPA and DelSt and we have three puffs on our sched (27%). By default, 44,4% of your sched is puffs right off the bat, then add in Western State and it becomes laughable.

Side note: Montana's SOS is trending up with Western State's recent convincing wins over New Mexico Highlands and Fort Lewis!

Go take a look at UNH's schedule and get back to me. St Francis? Dartmouth? Towson? Northeastern? Rhode Island? 5/11 absolute GUARANTEED victories. Nice way to start the season....

FYI--it's not usually the CAA South teams we bitch about. You guys have several difficult teams in that half. The CAA North gets a cake-walk. :coffee: :coffee:

Oh, and any team that has lost to Albany IMMEDIATELY drops into the "cupcake' category.

Enter: Maine.

And Delaware's 3 wins are against Delaware STATE, Westchester and Maine. Delaware looks like a cupcake this year too. :coffee: :coffee:

And at this point, with wins only over VMI and Liberty, I'm starting to question JMU's "cupcakeness". :coffee:

And hell, if you begin to question JMU, then you gotta question Hofstra, who's only victories are against Stonybrook, Bryant and JMU....

I could go on and on, but you get the picture.

The main difference between east coast cakes and west coast cakes is that out here they're called d2 or d3 and we don't get credit for a d1 win.

And then every once in a while one them moves up a division like unc or Davis and they do something crazy and beat Stanford like Davis did a couple of years ago. When was the last time stonybrook beat a fbs school from a bcs conference?

You two got some kind of "pact" going? Refusing to argue the merits of your conference mates versus other conferences?
