Believe me, I understand. We wish sometimes that UNC, Sac State and Idaho State didn't exist (as part of our conference) either. ---at least not at their current level of athletic competitiveness.

Bullshit. Every CAA team plays an FCS school - on the road. That makes up for the West Chesters that appear on some schedules.

Besides, it's the Big Sky in-conference schedule that people are questioning.

I don't think Maine, Delaware and Hofstra can be called cupcakes just yet. They may not be playoff contenders this year, but they are still capable teams. I'd argue that the CAA has the same ratio of cupcakes as the Big Sky - 1/4.
