Two of those are SoCon games of the week.

ASU vs.The Citadel is only the game of the week if ASu loses. I'm not picking that. I'd say that the really important game is Furman-Elon. Furman is still something of an unknown quantity, but they did beat the team that walloped Wofford tonight. I think defense carries the day in the SoCon and I think Furman has the better one.

I'm thinking a 10 point spread, as well. I think this week Coach Higgins will pull the cover sheet off of a lot of defensive formations that we haven't used yet. If the final score has us losing by ten or less (or winning, of course) then I think we will compete for the second place this year. If ASU whips us then we'll still have a question mark four games into the season.

There will be a bazillion points scored in Furman-Elon. There will probably be about 20 scored in GSU-Wofford. Western gets better but still loses. App. State by a touchdown.
