Montana will win the national championship
Montana will win the national championship
"Sarah Palin absolutely blew AWAY the audience tonight. If there was any doubt as to whether she was savvy enough, tough enough or smart enough to carry the mantle of Vice President, she put those fears to rest tonight. She took on Barack Obama DIRECTLY on every issue and exposed... She did it with warmth and humor, and came across as the every-person....it's becoming mroe and more clear that she was a genius pick for McCain."

I stand by my pre-season prediction.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Glad to hear it!
Re: Montana will win the national championship
Congrats - we can all stop now and avoid any of those pesky injuries.

I said JMU at the beginning of the season, and that is what I am sticking with.
"This struggle may be a moral one, or it may be a physical one, and it may be both moral and physical, but it must be a struggle. Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did and it never will.

A lot of you guys must have missed the whole sordid affair between the breakup of Mr. Bannana's and D1B as D already has a thread from a few months ago where he picked MT. Mr. Bannana's picked another team though so there is some controversy about the whole thing. I don't know who to trust now.

Where's Terror D when you need him to resolve this?

trust, when used with regard to D1B + Mr. Bannanas, could you elaborate?

If Montana were in the CAA South the Griz would not make the playoffs

I would agree UM might not make the playoffs 16 straight years, but just by being in the CAA you can be an average team and make it in. I think the Griz are 3-3 (beat Richmond '00, UNH '04, JMU '08 and lost JMU '04, UMass '06, and Richmond '08) against teams in the CAA, so not that great but not like they are getting dominated either.93henfan wrote:No need for laughs or popcorn. No no, I was laughing at the truthiness of the statement and eating popcorn in the anticipation of AZ and Ursus stepping in here to talk about how it wouldn't be economical for them to travel away from the friendly confines of the upper mid west to play in the CAA south.

Yeah, D1B had a spokesbird (Mr. Bannana's) that left his flock and struck out on his own apparently. When it came time for the annual jinx that the spokesbird was supposed to make the spokesbird chose UNI. D1B scrambled mightily to try and take ownership back of the jinx but it was too late.Montanan wrote:Ursus A. If you want to just go search Mr. Bannana's history and you'll get an idea of the story, it was pretty funny. He only has about 20-30 or posts and most are in just a few threads.
It would be epic if MT/UNI were to make it to the title game. We would see a battle of who the king of the jinx is.
