This is a "Meh" for me... I assume during the last 30 seconds of blankness the team is running out on the field?

I'm with you. The blackness is indeed live video of the team running on the field. I still say Big Blue has a better intro video than the team.

Heres ours at SDSU's from last year, new one isn't up yet, uses the same song though. Looks pretty damn sweet up on our big ass Jumbotron (sorry Bison fans, OURS is way better, thats one thing good ole CAS has on ya )

It's pretty well done but it does lack some punch for excitement. Very cool style though.

I should mention that throughout the live video they cut to shots of the team walking out of the locker room and through the tunnel to the field. So they have the video with a mix of live footage..

ODU's and NDSU's are a little iffy for me as well. It seems that teams think there are only a few songs out there that can accompany these video's. Thunderstruck & Crazy Train are about as played out as you can get for my own personal taste. If someone has one of these with "Who let the dog's out" as their intro though that would definitely take the cake.

NDSU does play thunderstruck a ton, but we are "The Thundering Herd" so it kind of all goes together. The song did change one year, for one game, then fans called the dome and demanded the intro to be changed back.

Well that would spice it up real sweet then and add to the excitement. Like I said it's a cool and original looking clip.

You also have to remember ODU being a first year program they really don't have a lot to work with. I think next year's opening video will a lot better. As for this year's, I like it because they include the old photos from when ODU was still a branch of William & Mary. Also, Big Blue's entrance is pretty sweet.
