Indiana State (0-3) at #18 S. Dakota State (1-0) In a laugher... a monumental laugher
Austin Peay (1-1) at Illinois State (0-2) I-State has looked almost as bad as the "other" I-State in the MVFC
Murray State (1-1) at Missouri State (1-1)
Wagner (1-1) at North Dakota State (0-2) I feel like the Bison may take their 0-2 start out on Wagner
St. Francis (Pa.) (1-1) at #3 UNI (1-1) This one should be over by the end of Q1
Southwest Baptist (0-3) at #8 Southern Illinois (0-1) Same here
Stephen F. Austin (1-1) at Western Illinois (1-1)

Re: Missouri Valley Week 3 Prediction Thread
Indiana State (0-3) at #18 S. Dakota State (1-0) - SDSU is good, real good. They win real big.
Austin Peay (1-1) at Illinois State (0-2) - AP didn't look that bad against YSU. They should be able to win @ ILSU.
Murray State (1-1) at Missouri State (1-1) - Missouri State by 2 scores.
Wagner (1-1) at North Dakota State (0-2) - NDSU gets win #1 easily at home.
St. Francis (Pa.) (1-1) at #3 UNI (1-1) - Another win by 40+ points.
Southwest Baptist (0-3) at #8 Southern Illinois (0-1) - How are they #8 again? Marshall is no Iowa, but I digress, SIU wins big!
Stephen F. Austin (1-1) at Western Illinois (1-1) - Best matchup of them all on the list I think. WIU looked good at Sam Houston State, and I like them to win their home opener here. SFA and WIU are right behind eachother in the 'receiving votes column' of the FCS Coaches Poll.
Youngstown State (1-1) at Northeastern (0-2) - Historically, YSU never plays well in Boston, but they win this one by 2-3 scores. It is a must-win if they want to make it to the playoffs.

-Indiana State 3 at #18 S. Dakota State 42: Sickamores woes continue this time at the hands of a great SDSU team.
-Austin Peay 14 at Illinois State 28: The Redbirds had a rough start but i think they will be able to handle AP at home.
-Murray State 14 at Missouri State 21: This game is kinda tough to call as Murray state hasnt played an FCS opponent yet, i give the Bears the nod due to home field advantage.
-Wagner 7 at North Dakota State 35: The Bison vent their frustration of two tough losses on the Seahawks.
-St. Francis (Pa.) 24 at #3 UNI 49: Panthers beat up on a better Red Flash team, but still it will be ugly for the boys from PA.
-Southwest Baptist at #8 Southern Illinois: Yawn...SIU in a blowout, no need to put the score down.
-Stephen F. Austin 21 at Western Illinois 31: SFA will learn quickly that they arent playing Texas College
-Youngstown State 31 at Northeastern 7: The Guins will win as the Huskies woes continue to build.

I wish all MVFC teams luck and will be pulling for them to win.
(well, okay, I can't say I'm pulling for Indiana State to win, as that might be a bit too much to ask, and I'd like to see the Jackrabbits continue to climb in the polls. but I wish the Sycamores luck in making a game of it)

Agreed. Offense was sloppy. Holding on a 2nd and 1 from their 6 forced a FG. QB past the line on a TD pass. etcetcetcGil Dobie wrote:UNI must not have been very fired up for the game, only 30 point win, but a shutout at least.guinzone wrote:Northern Iowa beat St. Francis (PA): 30-0

That illegal forward pass call confused me.pantherrob82 wrote:Agreed. Offense was sloppy. Holding on a 2nd and 1 from their 6 forced a FG. QB past the line on a TD pass. etcetcetcGil Dobie wrote:

Well, not the call itself, because PG was clearly over the line.
But they didn't mark off any yardage for the penalty. Is it really only loss-of-down for that penalty, and no yardage walked off? Not that the 5 yards would have made a difference. Either way, the TD was called back, and we ended up missing the FG on that drive anyway.
