Good Parenting is not all about wealth

Just when you start making some strides, you fall off the wagon of common sense again
I didn’t say good parenting is all about wealth either. However wealth creates certain opportunities for youth advancement and learning that working poor don’t get to enjoy.

This is just reality. It’s supported by countless studies and examples. That’s what common sense actually is.
Depends what your definition of “enjoy” actually means

How did Joey rottens wealth work out when he sent a little Hunter to college? All paid for by Daddy

It will probably be difficult for MAQA yahoos to overcome the Qult programming but they should give being rational & reasonable a try.

Puerto Rico isn't a state.

I don't think they called/polled anyone. If you'd read the article before offering your opinion, you'd know that they used
data from each state to determine rates of military engagement (average enlistment, number of veterans, active-duty and reserve military personnel) and civic engagement (voter turnout, jury participation, volunteer rate and hours logged per resident, AmeriCorps and Peace Corp volunteers, civic life participation and civics education), researchers calculated a 0-100 point score for each state, with 0 being the lowest level of patriotism and 100 being the highest.

Nobody has called me for any of these polls ever

Puerto Rico is full of veterans and active duty military, I would say Guam probably wins for US territories

Finland. Sweeden and Spain unemployment off the charts

Why? Because they are lazy

“Look at most of those utopian Scandinavian countries unemployment rate. Finland at 10.8%. Isn't socialism great. This is a perfect example of what happens when you don't have to go to work because you will still get your goodies. Once people figure out they don't have to put out much effort to exist, they inevitably won't. It's a historic fact. At least until the state becomes authoritarian.”

The definition of socialism changes every day

all I know is, I’m glad I don’t live there particularly Norway because that’s where my source is

Does socialism make people lazy?

Does it put a cap on too many people’s potential?

This past May, a twin-engine Beechcraft King Air medevac plane took off from Roswell, New Mexico, and headed west to the town of Ruidoso to pick up a patient. It shouldn’t have been a challenging flight for the two pilots and two nurses aboard. The temperature was 69 degrees; the sky was clear. The 60-mile journey normally takes a half hour, at most.
But once airborne, the plane ran into trouble. At the White Sands Missile Range that night, US military personnel were conducting a GPS jamming exercise that left the King Air pilots—and anyone else within hundreds of miles—unable to use modern navigation systems. Forced to revert to older technology, ones that they rarely if ever use, the medevac pilots got disoriented and crashed into the side of a mountain. There were no survivors.
The accident marked the first time that GPS jamming had contributed to the crash of a civilian plane in the United States. But it was just one of a string of recent disruptions across the world. The skies are more contested than ever, whether it’s civilian drones wandering out of the approved zone or US agencies getting their signals crossed, as happened earlier this year when New Mexico and Texas scared the public by temporarily closing their airspace. (It turned out that US Customs and Border Patrol were using anti-drone lasers in that area.) The GPS jamming exercise that led to this latest crash is not a singular event. In the past year, the US military appeared to have sent out notices for at least 10 such exercises. “As drone warfare and electronic warfare expand, airlines are increasingly encountering navigation disruptions hundreds of miles beyond the actual conflict zone,” says Eliran Almog, CEO of the cybersecurity firm Cyviation.
It's worth taking a closer look at what happened last May. While the Ruidoso crash was the first fatal accident in the US known to be linked to electronic warfare, there’s no reason to think it will be the last.

This could go in a lot of threads (rightist violence, racist and sheit, etc.) but I'll put it here ...

A Trans Woman Exercised Her Legal Right To Defend Herself. So Why Is She Being Prosecuted?
Rihanna Kelver, a trans activist and former bartender living in Laramie, Wyoming, pointed her gun at a group of men after they allegedly verbally harassed her before shoving her to the ground. Although she claims to have drawn her gun in self-defense while she was down — and did not fire any shots — she was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and possession of a deadly weapon, which could land her up to 15 years in prison, according to The New York Times.
...
But they also bring up a lot of feelings about how queer people are often held to double standards when it comes to rules that are meant to protect "everyone."

Wyoming is a "stand your ground" state, referring to legislation meant to protect gun owners who act in self-defense. Police listed the man Kelver pointed her gun at, Scott Durham, as the victim in this case. But in security camera footage released by the Times, the men don't appear to be scared at all, and Kelver never even touched them during the interaction.

Wyoming's "stand your ground" law was passed in 2018 and allows gun owners to fire a weapon" if they reasonably believed that they faced an imminent threat of harm." And so, denying this legal carveout to Kelver clearly shows us who the government actually deems worthy of "self-defense," who is granted the benefit of the doubt, and, by extension, who is allowed to defend their own life.
Either everyone has a right to stand their ground or no one does. The gubmint doesn't get to pick and choose.

It's your opinion that they're lying.

Call her whatever pronoun makes you feel better about yourself but it doesn't change the underlying question - Why is this person being prosecuted for exercising her right to stand her ground?

The "what else are they lying about?" question applies even more so to trump and everyone in his regime.

Wrong. You‘re entitled to your opinion but not your own facts.
Fact- The person is a man.
Fact- A man is a he, not a she.

I don’t care what pronoun a person with a mental illness (yeah my opinion, shared by the opinion of the DSM 4, but not the opinion of the DSM 5) wants to use. Free country. I’m just not going to affirm their delusion. No ‘her’ is being prosecuted, and no ‘her‘ was exercising any right.

And there you go with a TDS ‘But Trump‘ that seeps into lots of your posts that have absolutely nothing to do with Trump.

Edit: And I read the one sided HuffPo piece that kept referring to this man as a her. They only took his side of the story. No statements from the police, DA, the other party, witnesses, or video. So I‘m sure it went down just like this guy described, and he is just an innocent victim.

More of your opinion masquerading as fact.

DSM 5 is more current - does your doctor still use bloodletting and mercury to treat you when you're ill?

Like trump and other maQa yahoos you don't like it when your arguments/logic are turned and used against you and you resort to whining tDS and "but trump" because you know it exposes your hypocrisy and you have no defense. Classic "rules for thee, but not for me".
Being wrong about a topic is called post partisanism - kalm

maQa - putting the Q into qrazy qanon qult qonspiracy theories since 2015.

It will probably be difficult for MAQA yahoos to overcome the Qult programming but they should give being rational & reasonable a try.
