I'm considering moving abroad when I retire. I've been to 49 of 50 states and traveled in Europe and Asia. And I won't do it because I hate America, I'll do it to be able to live less expensively (healthcare, rent/mortgage, etc.) and travel.

I haven't decided if much less where. Could be Europe (Portugal or Mediterranean), the Caribbean, Mexico or Latin America, maybe even Asia. Need to figure out the costs and logistics, especially the impact on my ability to see my kids.

The money is in drug smuggling and no human trafficking organization is going to put just 3 or 4 illegals on a boat like that with multiple outboard engines and also carrying 55 gallon drums of extra gasoline… it’s not a money maker for them
