Bill Clinton reveals Trump 'never said anything' linking himself to Epstein's crimes

Former President Bill Clinton told lawmakers on the House Oversight Committee last week that he couldn’t recall President Donald Trump saying anything that would link him to Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes.

As Democrats pressed Clinton on his relationship with Trump and the pair’s numerous mentions in the Epstein files, Clinton paused to clarify his stance.

"I hate this because I don’t think I should inject anything, but I do not want to leave the impression… He, the president, never — this is 20-something years ago — never said anything to me to make me think he was involved with anything improper with regard to Epstein," Clinton told investigators last week.

At another point in the deposition, Clinton again clarified his stance on Trump’s relationship with Epstein.

"As I said earlier, the only conversation I had with President Trump about this was in the early 2000s and I have no information that he did anything wrong," Clinton said…..

New Evidence Corroborates Claims of Trump Sex Accuser, 13

The woman conducted four interviews with the FBI in 2019 in which she detailed alleged abuse by Trump and child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Her interviews referencing Trump were initially withheld by the Department of Justice.

A report from South Carolina newspaper The Post and Courier released on Sunday has now corroborated key personal details given by the woman about a third man she claims also sexually assaulted her—named Jimmy Atkins. Those details are not directly related to her accusations against Trump, but suggest that she was truthful about other matters she raised with the FBI.

The woman claimed Epstein started abusing her and trafficked her to several men when she was aged between 13 and 15. She had met Epstein after he responded to an advertisement for babysitting that her mother, a real estate agent in South Carolina, had given to her clients.

Nancy Mace Sends Bondi an Epstein Files Warning

Mace, a member of the House Oversight Committee, told CNN’s News Central on Friday morning that the congressional subpoena issued to Bondi in March is “by name and not by the title,” meaning she is still “compelled” to answer questions under oath about the botched release of the Epstein files.

“At this juncture, I’m not backing away from that or backing down from that,” Mace added.

“I do believe the handling of the Epstein files was done in a very poor manner by her and her office, and there are still questions that she has answers to that are very serious, and she has information that will be important to the committee.”

This could be worse case for trump - it could free up bondi to be more forthcoming since she doesn't have to worry about getting fired. trump was probably hoping Congress would move on and forget about bondi.
