It should go both ways. If people can be prosecuted for lying to Congress, then members of Congress and Presidents should be prosecuted every time they lie to the American people.

Are people prosecuted for lying to Congress when they're not under oath? If yes, is bondi going to have DoJ bring charges against herself? There's a reason she's working so hard to avoid testifying under oath.

And if people refuse to go under oath they get held in contempt.
