I don't have time at the library to post polls anymore, but I noticed something really odd: at both the FCS and FBS levels, there were a surprising number of teams winning games yet dropping, some by a crazy number of places. Oregon won and dropped three in the AP poll. Sac won and dropped. It can't be more than performance relative to the perceived level of competition, can it? And it wasn't just Oregon and Sac. It happened to a LOT of teams, although nobody actually dropped out this week.
Explanation, anyone?
