...give me five, I'm still alive
ain't no luck, I learned to duck
check my pulse, it don't change
stays 72, come shine or rain
wave the flag, pop the bag
rock the boat, skin the goat

Wave that flag, wave it wide and high
summertime done come and gone my oh my
not bad...

what flag are you waving? the Pride flag :coffee:

I'm waving the flag the song is talking about - funny how all these 50 year-old songs have suddenly regained relevance. And even funnier how its the artists taking down the current regime with music. Walls of Jericho time, son, and when its all over whats left inside his diaper will be thinking....."I shouldn't have fucked with the Boss...."

lol....mom taught 4th grade and Dad was a general contractor, bought their first home when I was 11. First time I went to the same school two years was 7th and 8th grade. Growing up in NorCal in the 60s/70s meant the good music came to you. Jefferson Airplane, Moby Grape, Grateful Dead, New Riders of the Purple Sage, It's a Beautiful Day, Santana, Tower of Power, Cold Blood, Hot Tuna, Country Joe and the Fish, Stoneground......all local bands you could see for $3 at Winterland, or the Warfield or Sacramento Memorial Auditorium, Avalon Ballroom, The Cow Palace (saw Keith Moon fall off his drum kit there)... didn't need to travel to see the good stuff

Woodstock was the big splash but he was already a star locally among both chicanos and anglos. Santana and Tower of Power....that's some shit right there; the big acts had to really bring their A game if they didn't want the show to get stolen

 I've been far more accurate on what is happening in Ukraine than ISW. They've spun narrative after narrative and is exactly why you kept buying into Putin is dying, going to be replaced, etc.

I thought you knew ISW is another trough Kristol feeds from with gubmint money. Check out the "who we are" page. He's a board member.

Stalker…nice deep dive. He’s neither the founder or publisher. Can you identify what he had to do with this post if anything? Boards are revolving doors of elites.

Flailing as usual and applying free association. Trumpster would be proud.

The post should give you some indication. Deisen (the tweeter) is commenting on who is involved with "the most quoted source" on the war. Obviously pointing out what he feels is a bias. I was adding to that by showing Bill Kristol, grifter extraordinaire is involved.

I found out about Kristol early in the war when I went to their site. You know, checking out a source.

Donald Trump grows angrier as Vladimir Putin exposes his impotence
Trump sudden harsh turn was illuminative, if not for the reason he may have intended. A throwaway jab aimed at Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelensky (“everything out of his mouth causes problems … it better stop”) in the same post solidified the underlying intention of the screed: Trump was massaging a bruised ego.

With his pride wounded, Trump has turned to lashing out at the Russian leader who is now publicly refuting his repeated claim that he could end the destructive three-year-old conflict in “24 hours.” Four months after Trump took office, supposedly poised to immediately shut down the war, attacks on Ukrainian targets intensified over the weekend, with Russia launching its largest aerial assault of the war thus far.

Loathe as he is to give Zelensky any credit for correctly predicting that Russia’s leadership had no real intentions of ending the war, Trump’s emotional outburst comes as he seems to be realizing that the issue could become a major blemish on the “dealmaker” perception he has sought to cultivate.

They apparently shipped in a fleet of FPV drones hidden in the remotely retractable roofs of shipping containers.

You do understand this took advantage of the SALT and START treaties that were between the US and Russia? This is not the victory you think this is. This is another instance in which Russia will look at this and say, "why should we trust anything NATO or Trump says"? and further dig in.

Of course they’ll play the victim card. Don’t invade sovereign countries and this type of thing is likely to happen.

Dude. The US and Russia both agreed to keep their nuke capable bombers out in the open so both countries could confirm they were on the ground and not in the air.

This is another cheap shot by NATO/US hoping Russia will show restraint. This is up there with bombing of Nordstream.

Again, don't invade another sovereign country and none of this happens. This wasn't NATO or the US hitting Russia, it was the Ukraine hitting Russia. The same Ukraine that Russia is trying to annex at the barrel of a gun. Wanna bet they don't do this attack if Russia wasn't attacking Ukraine in the first place?
