Thanks blackfalkin. I can't wait until next Saturday. I got to see alot of the progress every time I went to a baseball game this past spring but I haven't had the chance to get back since May. I think the planners did an excellent job of keeping the stadium within the same architectual style as the rest of the campus.

I see many other FCS stadiums being renovated on here but, to be honest, I find several of the plans to be kind of bland or sterile or almost like cathedrals. I find ours to look like an old fashioned god damned football stadium!! (with all the modern amenities)

I plan on being in San Marcos next weekend for the home opener and will take as many still shots of the stadium as I can from several perspectives. I may even buy a ticket on the student side to get shots of the "dark side" of the stadium, and of course some night shots.

I'll be on the student side so will get pics from there, as will my hubby. Will probably post on Facebook as I did all the games he took shots of last year. He takes a crapload of them so will have to wait until he tapersit down.

That complex is awesome. I don't know if that's the final plan, but with it standing alone like that, it looks very imposing...very monolith like.

This is Phase I of the upgrade. Phase II is removing the track and bowling in the N endzone, adding 8400 more seats.
