In case anyone who is associated with Montana St they have been hit hard by the transfer portal some of their top players have flown the coup.
Lost our starting Left Tackle to Michigan State, Connor Moore. I think we will be fine there as Cedric Jefferson played there at the beginning of the season and played well. Lost our #1 RB Scottre Humphrey, not sure where he is going. I think we will be fine there as well with Adam Jones and Julius Davis coming back. We have two young RB's that took snaps and looked pretty good this year.
Where we got hurt in the portal is in the secondary, but mainly due to depth. Dru Polidore starting safety and Andrew Powdrell starting CB both left. We have some young talent with some good experience, but they are going to have to grow up in a hurry. Hopefully we will start hearing of some transfers coming in.
The one that kind of pisses me off is Rohan Jones the TE/HB that transferred in from Maine and played very well. One year and gone. We have a good young set of TE's, but not sure if any of them has the speed of Jones. Hunter Providence appears to be a downfield threat at TE and Ryan Schlepp is a a decent receiver that is also a good run blocker.

Similar. Cignetti was villified by many JMU fans not for leaving, but for the way he left- gutting the program by taking JMU’s basically top 13 returning players (all originally recruited as FCS btw) (for IU 8 started started/6 made All Big 10) from an 11-1 (reg season) G5 team, along most of the coaching staff with him before JMU’s 1st ever bowl game. Also flipped at least 4 of JMU’s top 2024 HS recruits to IU. Some arrogant comments & staged photos he made after leaving were seen as rubbing salt in the wound. The previous 2 JMU HCs both departed for G5 HC jobs, but hadn‘t gutted the program like that. Haven’t followed it, but I would would imagine there’s SDSU fans that are vilifying Rogers online not for leaving, but for the way he left, taking most of the staff and top returning players, seemingly gutting the SDSU program.

Better hope they don't lose that 6-6 QB then they will really be in trouble.
Since this thread has already gotten sidetracked, it affects not only FBS, but also FCS (and Div II), and Bohl is a former NDSU HC, going to be this here. This should have been put in place 4 years ago. Would have prevented the fiasco of players bolting before their bowl games, and in some cases FCS playoffs, the last few seasons.

Washington State has moved to the WCC along with Oregon St I was hoping to see them in the BIG XII
